Wow... Camelback has more snow than that....and probably so does Blue, JF and they're closed.... DOH
-
WRONG.....Rappers have been claiming to be drug dealers and rappers since the 80's... Although they didn't feel the need to use voice changing devices..... sooooo GHEY
-
Shawnee is a fun place to ski when you need a change of scenery....I just didn't get there this year, but it was on my list...
-
I took the kids to the crayola factory / canal museum yesterday.... Wifey gets back today from her trip... I now need to decide on Camelback or Hunter for next weekend... or maybe bouldah...
-
mapquest says 4hrs 20mins for me.... might be a little too far for a day trip....we'll see..
-
I now recognize BDK from Dom's TR today....If I'm right he is wearing the Red and black jacket.... I saw him skiing everytime I was on the lift yesterday....lol
-
Michael and I are still looking at going to this... LONG day trip...
-
That was the miller lite good call.... it was pretty empty, if I said I skied more than 3 runs all day with another person on the same trail I'd be lying... It was awesome....
-
Yep... and those slush puddles were like slamming on the brakes.... The Lower Cleopatra bumps were nice though but it sucked getting to the lift afterwards... King Tut stayed nice for a long time as noone was hitting it... hell noone was there to hit it really... BDK were you in a yellow jacket?? I have no idea who you are but I always look for you when at JFBB and never find you but I saw someone in a yellow jacket that looked like someone who I've seen at JF before.... FWIW...I had on a red winter park hoodie and black pants.... grey helmet, white wisdoms with fire lens... I was there from like 9:15 - 12:45 mainly skied off the sullivan lift as I thought those trails were nicer today... but was off the stevenson for about an hour in the am.. No sign of Toast either....
-
LMAO....that's great...
-
Not quite as fast as you though...close....but not that fast...lol
-
I'll be there as quick as traffic allows.....
-
I'm looking at hitting up CB on Friday since I took off from work.. I need to drop the kids off at school/day-care first though so I'm not sure exactly when I'll get there with the Blue Route traffic and all that mess... I'll drop the kids off at 7:30 then head straight there so more than likely I'll get there around 9:45-10ish if traffic isn't a complete cluster.. I do need to travel the whole length of the blue route as well as the north-east ext. and the Rt 22....before even getting to 33 so I may be screwed... I'll also need to leave around 1:30-2 to beat the traffic on the way home so I can pick up the kids from school as well.. So needless to say it's a short midday session for me...

I'm out guys... Gonna hit Camelback this friday then possibly hunter on the 5th then I'm moving on to riding my bike....
-
I'll be there......but on the 27th
-
I'm definitely a NO....
-
holy smokes they got a ton of snow.... I hope I can make it up there before they shut down....
-
Yeah 25 might be an exxageration, but not by much.... It was EMPTY for sure... There was literally 12-13 cars total in the lot where Smartass and I parked when we left at Noon + 8 minutos... It definitely was a nice day though and it was the warmest 20 degree day ever with zero wind... It was 19 degrees when we arrived and 35 degrees when we left. Exhibition gets my vote for run of the day, but thunderbolt was a real surprise as it looked to be really thin cover but skied so niiiiiiiice.... Sorry Robert can't tell you how Lehigh was didn't ski it today... but floyd's was nice!!! Rivershot got piled up a little in the middle right before the last headwall but it wasn't bad... soft sugar.. JADAJFP
-
missed you today bro.... Dan Mike and I had a blast this am... snow was sweet in the am.... got a little piled up then started to get nice again as we were leaving... Michael had a highlight reel going in the bumps....it was solid as hell in the am and he went in there full speed and ate crap twice... was pretty funny... Video's were nice...gotta check that place out sometime for sure..
-
looks like Mike and I are going today as he has a commitment tomorrow...... leaving in 15 mins..
-
Not sure yet if I'm coming tomorrow or sunday yet... I have a party to go to Sat. night so not sure if I want to be tired for the party or hungover for skiing....lol

As this season at JFBB is coming to a close... (It's not closed yet though whoo hoo!!) I'd like to say it was Great to meet and ski/ride with those of you I have had the chance to. And I look forward to meeting those that I didn't get the chance to meet / ski with this season next year... We have a good group of peeps there and next year should be even better... It's nice that the JFBB crew continues to be DRAMA-FREE.... Gotta say this season has been and continues to be GREAT at JFBB.... It wouldn't be possible without Peak Resorts, and the Incredible employees at JFBB that continue to listen and act on their core customer base requests. From the people in the office, to the Groomers, and Patrollers keeping everyone safe without the BS that goes on elsewhere.... Thanks for treating us all with respect and caring about us all... With that said I'd like to say... YOU GUYS KICK ASS!!!!
-
I'll 2nd that....
-
Honestly, it's cost effective for them only to open boulder on weekends and they preserve the snowpack a little longer that way as well... Yeah it sucks if you are a weekday skier/rider, but I'm sure anyone can understand the reasoning behind it... I just hope Boulder stays open on weekends for as long as they can....

Then ski somewhere else...
