remember if you wear a red coat and don't participate in the CJ then you need to tape over the national ski patrol logo on your jacket.

Damn that's harsh... I'm going to JF tomorrow instead now...

I'm not skiing BC... haven't been there since it was Doe... BB is for Nov. skiing when nothing else is open... or desperation night skiing only. I'll break out the icelantics for gaper day!!

Wife's got company coming over sat....and my cousins kids christening is sunday... so this weekend is shot to hell It'll only be the 2nd weekend I've missed since Nov 11th. I'm trying to bail on work tomorrow, but I'd have to hit boulder at night...so might just do Blue cause BB is a waste for me...especially if we get some POW!! The 29th will be my first JFBB day it looks like, but I'll be there with my son (NOOB!!) Then I'm trying to get the wifey to let me go on the 2nd as well... (yeah let me, I need permission...lol)
-
Don't you guys spend most of your time at BC anyway though?? I had a lot of fun skiing with you and Bob.... We'll have to all get together again sometime.... Gaper fools day??

I can see the break down like this... Blue 25% Most people go there Camelback 15% Half the time they're closed Bear Creek 15% see above but due to location not camelbacks reason + smaller mountain Elk 10% Too far of a drive for almost everyone to visit often JF 10% only open during the day... BB 10% mainly a park mountain and splits the overall 20% with JF Sno Mtn 15% Spring mtn. 5% self explanitory

I'm getting happier about my season pass purchase by the second... love it... LOVE IT!!!

Congrats on the recovery... Last year about this time I was getting back on the slopes after an MCL tear.. Getting back is great because it's like getting a fresh start to the season or a mulligan!!

Enjoy.... look forward to the TR's

Well I debated it and debated it, but in the end I bought the JFBB season pass for 08/09. The cost factor was enough for me to do it being as I get 4 snow passes for my son to use, and I get to ski the rest of this season for free as well. If Blue would have offered the same deal, I'd be there in a heartbeat. I've had so much fun skiing with you guys over the past 2 years. My skiing has improved by skiing with you, I've met a few great people, and had a lot of good times. I always look forward to meeting up with PASR's on the weekends and there is really no better place to do that than Blue mtn from what I've learned over the past two years. I'm not going anywhere, I'll still be here on PASR, but I also know it won't be the same as skiing with you guys all the time. I do look forward to skiing at JF as I do enjoy the east mountain quite a bit. It's just going to take some getting used to as I won't be doing it with all of you. I'm sure there will be more PASR's that I'll meet that ski at JFBB and they will probably be just as cool... cause that's the type of people that hang out here. So until I get to ride that lift with you all again and give out the HELL YEAH!! Keep it real, and be safe cause I'm heading a little further north for a year or so.. Phillycore.... John

I guess you can now officially call me a JFBB season pass holder. I can get over the slower lifts, I can deal with the extra gas and drive time... I will however SERIOUSLY miss the good times skiing with the Blue Mtn. PASR's I'll definitely need to make a few trips there for that reason alone...

might be one of those rubber livestrong type bands

I brought up the jfbb site at work and had it all ready to plug in, and didn't yet.. I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger for some reason... Money wise it makes complete sense... I'm just having a hard time commiting to it for a few reasons... 1) JF is 115 miles from my house.... Blue is 89miles 2) I have so much fun skiing with the Blue PASR crew.. it really makes it so much better for me and I feel like I'd be missing out on it. 3) I ski on weekend mornings most of the time.. Blue opens at 7:30am and JF opens at 8am added to the extra 30 minutes it takes me to get home means that I either leave earlier (see #4) or I stick the wife by herself with our kids for longer. 4) Lift speed means I'm spending more time to get the same amount of runs in (vert aside although you could add that to it) I might just be making excuses now... I really want to just buy the damn pass as it makes the most sense cost wise and for my son to be able to ski as well at least 6 times (4 free passes + 2 wmmr days) not to mention that JFBB will more than likely open before anywhere else, and close the latest as well.. I just need to get on and do it...lol
