I'm home.... We left winter park at 5:40am.... Took off a little bit after 10am and arrived at PHL about 3:25pm. Huge Thank you going out to Barb and it was awesome to ski / hang out with you!!! All in all a good trip even considering the lack of snow we got while there. Now the unpacking begins and back to reality tomorrow morning.....

Almost forgot.....yesterday I got upended and was headfirst downhill with my one ski stuck between two trees. Unfortunately my only option was to take off that ski. When doing so I realized that I was in a huge tree well. So I'm waist deep+ in this tree well standing up when these two ladies ski up about 100 yards away and one says "what you doing in there taking a poop". I laughed but realistically I was in a bad spot trying to get out and my ski was about waist high....lol

I definitely should have taken a picture of that... I had a bbq dinner with pulled pork, chopped brisket, fresh jalapeño sausage, with Cole slaw and mashed taters... Steamboat Smokehouse ftw

Honestly...the elevator is only good when the snow is right. It hasn't been all year and won't be unless we get a thaw cycle to loosen the base than it snows a lot while it's still kinda warm. Right now any snow it gets is only good for the first person as it slides straight down. It's definitely over hyped.

Vermont is freaking cold!! The skiing is good though.... Dress warm. Have fun.

Justo. We were all hoping for much lighter snow yesterday. I learned my lesson on the seth's when we all went out to Utah at snowbasin. They made my life suck. Doug... Dan has his own room and fwiw I really don't sleep too well out here....like three hours than gotta pee like a 80 year old.... Breakfast opens up at 7 It's nothing spectacular.....straight carbo load. Muffin, waffles. Cereal coffee and juice. What do you expect for $77 a night. The lemon water is cool though. We are doing this trip on the mad cheap.....like seriously though we got a steal here. 3 day pass to steamboat $159.

Dan killed it today..... I had my struggles where the snow was heavy and piled up. My legs definitely aren't where they should be and I got all instructor mode in the beginning and pretty much forgot how I have to ski out here. Today I was on the seth's but trying out the prophets tomorrow. Hoping that I'll get bounced around a lot less. For lunch I had a burger and curly fries along with a orange juice. I actually have a mortons neuroma that developed on my left foot so it's more of a nerve thing....

I called it quits at 3:10 .....legs are shot, but my toes on my left foot hurt so bad I wanted to take my boot off right on the trail...

Can't sleep for shit, have had a headache pretty consistently since we got here, I can fart like a champ, and I have to pee every 5 minutes. I'm definitely not adjusting to the altitude this time for some reason....most likely because I'm a jackass and didn't prepare like I usually do by drinking a shit ton of water every day for a month before I left. (I hope you people are laughing....) I'm in steamboat and there's snow on the ground... Today should be good....
