I was up both days this weekend with the kids. No pictures.... Still have yet to see the sun this season. I'm starting to enjoy the prophets more, they ski much better for me with a narrower stance than I usually do. Snow guns a blazing all day long...

The base at jf wasn't all that deep last weekend....although there was plenty in challenge glade....wind blowing it in there coupled with a little bit of tree cover helps a lot

Thoughts on today... The downers... They need more snow... No east mountain... Still not in love with the new Prophets. ( extremely stable with a speed limit well outside of anything I'd ever be comfortable skiing at, yet at the same time really unforgiving and won't let you get lazy. Definitely unlike anything else that I'm used to. No equal pressure or back seat and these skis are running from you like a death row inmate with an open gate. Solid skis, just not sure if they're meshing too well with me. Eh....it's day 2 The goods... Some cool stuff to play with between challenge and challenge glade. Challenge glade was pretty skiable. The PBR lib tech's turned out to be a good gamble as they are extremely fun to ski on. (they ski really short as expected) The upgrades to e2000 are nice.

More snow would be nice

My suggestion would be to look for a beginner package at one of the ski resorts which will include your equipment rental for the day as well as a lesson to get you started. I know that if you went to Jfbb you'd be looking for the discovery package, I'm not sure what it's called at the other areas offhand. Most of all dress for the weather and have fun.

Romeo.... Are you new to skiing? Have you been before, couple times, few times a year. These are important questions, don't buy anything until you know what you want,need as it will change pretty quickly the more you progress.
