I'll be there Saturday... Only on reserves from 9-11,than discovery from 11-2, than training 2-4 so doubt that I'll be teaching them... ;-) However... If they have a group or private lesson at 9 or 10 they have a pretty good chance of getting.... Ridge Racer Honestly... If they never skied before... Their best bet is to go through the Discovery program and be there right at opening (8:00) so they can have their equipment and get right into the Discovery program at 9. Just my. 02 I'll be on the snow at 8am somewhere on east mountain....

I have to agree with Johnny Law on pretty much everything he said in this thread. I personally have owned a slew of skis and I can ALWAYS find something I like about each one of them to "validate" my purchase. I can also find something about each one of them that I don't like. I treat skis like Wilt Chamberlain treated women.... I find something that I'm happy with and ride the shit out of it than move to the next one when I'm bored with it. If I really like riding it, I keep it around for a little while, but I'm always looking for something fresh...

DeMatte stash was primo, bumps on skiers right of challenge were fun, elevator was hero snow made it ski like a blue square, e-glade tested out the back of my helmet once.... Lot of friendly faces up in e2k as well...

I came, I skied, taught 1 private lesson, 1 group lesson... Got $20 tip which meant free lunch. Would have scored a free beer from a Pod member who fell in training but had to roll out at 3. I also scored a wicked sinus cold, but whatever. I like the bumps on the sides of tbolt and challenge. Glades are always my favorite.... Short lines, fresh pow refills... No complaints.... Quote of the day was from the "special" individual who was seated across from me, next to Dom at lunch who said... I like snow! It's better than hurricanes like Sandy. I agree young man....

Decided that I would go visit the emergency room with my girlfriend instead. She's trying to get out of skiing next weekend by possibly having kidney stones. Been there, done that, fuck that shit.... Hopefully she doesn't have them...
