  3. Yo Dan go grab some more free cookies from the lobby!!
  4. Today was absolutely freaking AWESOME!! Skied open to close and never bothered to stop for lunch. Got seperated from the other crew which kinda sucked, Broke a pole, fubared my goggles, need a new helmet after taking a boulder to the dome and none of that shit matters because today was EPIC! Oh, yeah..... Powmow completely freaking blows ass... do NOT waste your time going there....it's completely flat meadow skipping bullshit with tons of poling.... Go to Deer Valley it's the shit!! Just got back from grubbing on some panda express and parking lot pimping at the Target so Dom could grab some superman underoos and flintstone vitamins. Dom claimed all the women in Utah were blonde and fit so Dan and I had to point out all the non blonde fat women for him.. There was one completely Hot Milf in front of me on the J bar today who I thought had to be around 35 or so and I heard her tell the liftie that she was 50. I don't know what's in the water out here but I'm drinking a shitload of it just in case..... Unfortunately it leads to finding a pee tree every 20 minutes while skiing. That's all for now... PBR'S and bumper cars cause that's how WE DO IT IN PA MOFO'Z!!
  5. The dirty.... Woke up, Drove to Canyon Sports.... bought ticket, drove to Snowbird... JF ski Dan and I went up Wilbere lift, down Harper's Ferry for untracked , back down to Wilbere lift... went down Harper's ferry east to to bass hwy to catch the Tram to the top.... Met Ridge Racer at the top of the tram as he went the baller vip shuttle bus route over to the lodge so he could get his platinum passport ticket. Then we freshly regulated our johnson's down to the little cloud lift which they were skipping every other chair due to some ice on the cable or some shit. I arrived at the top first and noticed a bunch of peeps hauling the mail towards mineral basin. Dan and Dom got to the top of the lift and I said that way fella's ...there's a reason why everyone's headed that way and off we bolted... We arrived just as they dropped the ropes for untracked primo down mineral basin. Couldn't have timed that shit any better if we tried. Lady luck was showing us her titty sparkles today fo' shizzle. We traversed across until we found an untouched line and I yelled out.. No Friend's on a powder day BIOTCHEZ!! then dropped.... Definitely skied deeper than 8" of fresh, at least that's what she said... We then took the mineral basin lift up and back down for more goods....to the baldy express lift We spotted a double chute while riding the lift so we dropped back in and worked across over to it Dom took the baller (high chute) route while Dan and I took the peasant (lower chute) route down to the mineral basin lift. From there we headed over to the cirque, Dom dropped in closer to great scott, Dan and I dropped in by upper cirque....steep n deep...fluff and stuff like mom dukes used to make back in the day. towards anderson's hill to who dunnit to blackjack back down to the base lodge for lunch. I opted for the turkey burger and fries. After lunch we boarded the tram up to the top. The tram announcement said road to provo was still closed so we got off the tram and pulled out a map because that was the route we wanted to take to get over to the other side. just as we were about to pull the map out, we heard someone say they just opened road to provo.. The mad dash was on like donkey kong playin ping pong... We took road to provo and dropped into shireen for first track freshies once again lady luck was dishing out her goodz. then down the mark malu fork where Dom and I popped onto organ grinder and Dan continued on mark malu . Dom and I found even more untouched through the trees and down the face to where we met back up with Dan and took gad gully down to the gad 2 lift. Then we took tiger tail to lower bassackwards and finished it off running the gadzzoom liftline to the lift. For the final run of the day Dom and I took lunch run to big badunkadunk emma to wilbere ridge to the wilbere lift where we hiked up the hill to the car at closing time. 4:15 on the clock when we unbooted and rolled out. Sick day for sure.... Powder Mountain tomorrow Had to duck some ropes for these freshies.....Dom took it a little wide and had to walk up at the end.... little over knee deep.
  6. A lot of time and effort went into that.... I enjoyed it...
  7. other side was closed...I was up against the ropes, Didn't want to pay the $600 fine + jail time they were advertising at the lift and ski patrol was making laps pretty regularly.
  8. did you guys wear matching lumberjack shirts just for the trip....
  9. Yesterday - Deer Valley Today - Brighton Friday - Snowbird Saturday - Snowbasin or Powder Sunday - Powder or Snowbasin Monday - Alta
  10. Made the hour long trek out to Brighton for day 2. Got there at opening with front row parking to boot. Got my lift ticket and headed out. I'm not going through all the runs and that crap today. I spent a lot of time in the trees early on then dropped into Endless Winter which was mad steep and technical with a really narrow tree chute that dropped into an open bowl. I had to unclick in one spot due to thin cover to get over a fallen branch, it was hard as hell to click back in on such a narrow and steep chute but I managed to get er dunn... Tons of trees, with lots of pow stashes and even found a few small drops which were actually fun. (normally I'm terrified of them, but with the snow and spots they were in it made it doable) It started dumping snow by around 11am and it kept everything fresh. Visability sucked at times, and the snow really pelted pretty hard as well while on the lifts. My favorite by far was everything off of the Milly Express lift. Little Milly was so much fun and I could've just lapped it all day pretty much. (Well that and Devil's dip, and Chute 2) I'll add some pix, and I did manage to take some gopro shit as well.. I'll upload something from that as well... I bolted out at 2:30 and I'm getting ready to go to the airport to pick up the rest of the crew.... POW day tomorrow at Snowbird!!!
  11. It has been dumping hardcore at Brighton since 11am, all rain below 7500ft so far.. Milly's has officially taken over as my #1 favorite spot on any mountain.... maybe it was the snow, or the skis, or who knows... it's F'N Awesome!!! I no longer want to move to Colorado, or Tahoe.... Utah All F'N Day Bro!! More later....
  12. yes there is.... I was tired what can I say. No excuse for it. Actually I'm still tired, didn't sleep for shit with time zone change. Pretty sore too, had the rls going on. Do you like these paragraphs better? Lol
  13. Well that SUCKS!! We are kind of locked in to Snowbasin on Saturday, and Powder on Sunday with the Pro letters. They wouldn't give them to us undated, anyway you guys could swap days around for at least one of them so we could meet up?? We are pretty much locked into the following Friday - Snowbird Saturday - Snowbasin Sunday - Powder Monday - Alta
  14. So here goes.... I left my house early as hell this morning (4:30) and headed to PHL for my 6:30am flight to SLC with a 40 minute layover in Chicago (MDW which ended up being 12 minutes between unboarding the one plane, walking down to the other gate and boarding the new plane) The flight was on the rough side and the pilot tried to get it to stop shaking taking the plane from 38000 feet down to 26000 feet and no luck. Either way no harm done, we made it. Unfortunately, I sat next to a pregnant lady who already had a 18month old that obviously needed a serious diaper change....so almost gagging to death for 3 hours sucked.....I kept pulling my t-shirt over my nose and luckily for me I had sprayed some cologne on so it helped mask the shit smell. So I arrived at SLC, grabbed my skis, and my bag and headed for the rental car lot. Picked up the rental car, threw my gps on the windshield and headed straight for Deer Valley to use my quick start free ticket. On my way there I realized that the sundance film festival is going on but nonetheless, I was there to ski not schmooze with whomever goes to those things. I parked in the free lot, tossed on my ski pants in the front seat of the jeep patriot, grabbed my gear and walked the 1/2 mile or so to the snow park lodge. Gave the lady my printout, a copy of my boarding pass, and my drivers license, and she handed me my free lift ticket! HELLS YEAH!! Clicked the skis on and I was on the carpenter express lift by 1pm SLC time. I blasted down little stick, to know you don't, and ended up on solid muldoon back to the carpenter express lift.... At the top of that lift I made my way back via silver link to the sterling express lift. From there I worked down wizard and over onto rattler down to the wasatch express and back up. Then I tackled reward back down to the wasatch lift once again. Reward, and Rattler were full of BIG ass soft fluffy bumps (just like those girls with the badonkaddonkz that we all be gawking at.... don't lie!!) Back up the wasatch and over to grizzly to perserverance to the sultan express. Then I ventured down steins way over towards the mayflower bowl which I took the easy line into then worked down to free thinker then through the trees onto the orient express down to the mayflower lift. From there I went down fortune teller to morning star back down to the mayflower lift again. Then steins way which was groomed blue then black back down to the sultan express back to the top of bald mt. While riding the lift up, I took a gander at the map and realized that I really wanted to get over to Empire canyon which was all the way on the opposite side of the mtn. So I started working my way over there. I'm not sure exactly what trail I ended up on but it was closed due to thin cover and of course I didn't see the ropes because I got into it by skiing through some trees. Anyway, it sucked and I had to dodge rocks for a while until I ended up on the top of a 6-7' rock cliff with a groomer under it. I don't do drops unless they are mandatory, and I couldn't have done this one even if I wanted to as it was a big straight rock slide down to a groomer. I had to pop out, toss my skis down and slide down the thing basically. Ok so that sucked, but I got back on some groomer and eventually ended up at the quincy express lift where I took the quickest way over to empire for time purposes via a green groomer called bandana. I then was able to hop onto the empire express and eventually drop into the empire bowl towards domingo which is where the tree pics are from, then down buckeye to orion back down to the empire express. I caught the very last chair as that lift closes at 3pm and once again dropped into empire bowl and took the same route basically only I varied the tree section a bit. Since the empire lift was closed it forced me onto the Ruby Express lift which I took up and skied down hawkeye to the northside lift. Then I skied down some green trail and was popping in and out of the trees where there was this section called bucky's frontyard or some shit... it was pretty cool trail in and out of the trees in an unexpected spot. This brought me down to the silver strike express lift which I took up and popped onto ontario then into this path that led me to ontario bowl and back onto ontario and I cut on some path that took me over to homeward bound which took me back to the sterling express lift and back up to the top of bald mt. I blasted down this blue groomer called birdseye and back down....this is the point where I got a little mixed up and thought I was back down to the base. I was actually at the silver lake lodge which is in the middle, instead of the snow park lodge which is at the base. All I know is that I couldn't go up anymore as everything was shut down and I hopped on the silver lake express which I thought would take me back over so I could ski down to the base.... NOPE that lift takes you down to the base. So I missed out on 2 or so groomers which took you down to the snow park lodge as everything was shutting down by the time I got to the base. All in all, I really didn't need it as I got a shit ton in for a 3:15 session or so. Deer Vallley definitely isn't anywhere near the top of my list as being gnarly, but it's a fun mtn. There's a shit ton of rich folks that ski there, and have their cars valet parked and all that. There was a tractor trailer in the parking lot unloading vehicles that people had transported there. Not sure why they wouldn't just rent something, but whatever... It probably doesn't deserve the #1 ranked mountain, ok, it doesn't at all, but it's definitely not a shitty mountain either. I'd ski there again for sure, I just wouldn't pay the $100 lift ticket to do so. I'm glad I went in the end... I rolled out and drove to the hotel which is in Layton, Utah checked in, grabbed some grub, stocked the fridge with some PBR's from the walmart, took a shower and typed this TR... Not too shabby for a first day I think. Brighton, Solitude tomorrow....maybe just Brighton. Gotta save my legs for when my Homies get in.... 6 straight days is going to be tough out here with no ski legs due to a shitty late start and my health issues...I really only had one solid day before today this season...the others I actually got in were seriously weak with no real terrain open.....
  15. I'll post a report when I get back to the hotel..... getting food cause I haven't eaten all day then grocery store for odds and ends, and beer
  16. in Chicago for 40 minutes.... Lol hope my skis make the connection

  18. DAMNIT!! I forgot to check in this am, and now I'm boarding like dead last. Looks like I'll be flying next to the smelly 600# fat lady, and just last year I was the fat ass noone wanted to sit next to. Payback is a mutha fucker let me tell ya... So this is a reminder for all you guys flying southwest.... make sure you remember to check in as close to 24 hours prior to your flight as possible so you get to choose your seat instead of getting stuck next to the smelly fat mofo, or the sumbitch that don't wear deoderant...
  19. that's hardcore man..... I think that I would've made it 1/2 mile at most before I was sweating to death and freezing, let alone worn the hell out. props...
