jf has $10 option for slopeside parking and a lot of people take them up on it. Free parking is available as well which I am thankful for.

when I drove by tussey, I was thinking man... I wouldn't mind getting in a few turns.....and if my gear was in the car instead of the wife and kids you bet your ass that I would've.... lol

East mountain is where it's at.... Risk it is just to skiers right off of Floyd's Folly it's basically just a cliff drop, but on a pow day it's fun., Elevator Glade can be found skiers right in between the first and second headwalls off of River Shot.... The Elevator is the really steep section skiers right at the top of the 2nd headwall on river shot, or at the bottom of the elevator glade, Mad Tree glade is fun as well and that is in between solitude and telstar. There are trees to skiers right of telstar as well that are mad fun to play in too. Have Fun and Explore, Jack Frost has a liberal open terrain policy, so if there's snow on it, you can ski it. Oh and FWIW, they blow snow into the trees too.....so there's almost ALWAYS snow in the trees..... Powder days at Jack Frost are the bomb..... Challenge Glade the trees skiers right of challenge (now knows as HAPPY LAND!!!) is absolute money!!! McConkey was a big loss too..... The guy was an absolute legend when it comes to modern day skiing. It's just getting all to commonplace the past few years.... CR Johnson, Jamie Pierre,Shane McConkey, and now Sarah Burke were all in the past 4 years alone... Doug Coombs was 2006..... Then you can add in the celebrity factor with Natasha Richardson, and Sonny Bono as well if you want to take it that far. I think Sarah maybe just stands out more because she was so personable. She wasn't the typical "crazy" skier in the public eye. She definitely was more of a public figure than any of the others who were mainly only known within the skiing community. People who don't know shit about skiing at all, knew Sarah Burke....

Choosing between sleet and skiing on groomers or snow and skiing on fresh pow in the trees / Elevator / Risk it...with no lift lines... DUH!! JF For the Win!!

6 more days...... I swapped out Deer Valley in favor of the Canyons for my quick start day. Closer to the airport means more time to ski.... what what..... I don't know what you mean.... last year's conditions were pretty damn good out in steamboat.... ;-)

heck yeah man.... I know the plan is to meet up at basin, powmow over the weekend but imo we all need a hangout night as well for the first true western pasr bar night whut whut...

It feels about the same right now.... although I am skiing pretty good on the new skis which are a lot less stiff than my others. I'm really curious to how long my legs last in Utah though, that will be the real test.

I'm not dedicated enough to put forth the effort..... lol

The damn gopro videos make me seasick.... Skiing videos in pa are short, mtb videos not so much. I really didn't edit anything... just start and stop point than looked at songs with the same length as the video... that one was close so I adjusted to fit.... I put it up to show the conditions pretty much...
