Actually... Dom, Dan, and I had a discussion about the whole Trash cans under the lifts thing last season. We all pretty much agreed that it was kinda crappy and took away from the natural element of it all. Kind of like the whole waterpark thing at camelback. It turns the mountain into an amusement park rather than a sport involving nature. Sure anyone can argue the man made snow and park features and all that (including ski lifts, which I'm not willing to give up so I can accept it) When you start adding trash cans and shit under the lifts it just gives people an excuse to toss the shit off the lifts. JFBB doesn't have the trash issues that Camelback and Blue have with the sole exceptions of WMMR weekends which brings out a whole different kind of patron altogether. It's one of the things that I love about it honestly....of course my numero uno reason is the open terrain policy. I can understand park features, but I'm simply not down with the trash cans....put those on the bottom and top of the lifts not underneath. Just my .02

Buying a new bike might have been a better choice after today's news..... I'm refilling my percoset perscription and working through that shit so I can still go to Utah though somehow.... I'm reserving the big boy stall that week......and I'm calling it now "Today IS the day" will be said EVERY day that week....and probably still won't end up being the day.

I know who you mean when you say smartass, I just don't acknowledge it. Yes, Dan (as in JFskiDan), Dom and I are all booked to go to Utah out of the same airport, but not together, not even the same airline. Toast is also booked to go to Utah, but also not together, not even the same airport. I'm not sure what the other guys you mentioned are doing offhand but I know some are booked to go to Utah, and others I know aren't. Ed Monroe isn't a JibHonk. He hasn't even been on a piece of snow equipment other than a shovel since at least 2007. You actually met Ed at Blue mtn. the same day you met me when I yard saled on the icelantics. Ed knows those guys from riding mountain bikes, not from skiing/boarding. Does that help clarify things?

I pretty much stole this from TGR... 1. Wake up early. Check the snow reports. 2. Go to Canyon Sports 3. Check their snow report 4. Compare results: ask questions if you're confused 5. Buy a pass for the mountain with the highest snowfall 6. Drive there 7. Show pass to liftie 8. Ski till close 9. Go out to bars get buzzed and target hot ski bunnies to take home and make bad decisions together. Preferably including ana 10. Wake up and repeat. 11. Go home and resume normal daily life 12. Plan next ski trip 13. Masterbate as needed. But switch hands often to prevent deformities!

Going to be a SICK time Fo Shizzle.... I'm finally getting stoked for ski season now.... I'd like to hit Alta, Snowbird, Snowbasin, and Powder Mountain myself... Brighton, Solitude, and the Canyons are definitely options as well though. I'm just basin it on mountain stats and what I've read/heard. Weather definitely plays a factor. Those shots from Snowbasin make me want to hit that shit... Looks like a lot more open bowl type skiing whereas JFskiDan and I spent almost 90% of our time in Da Woodz on last years trip. I'm an equal opportunity skier myself..... Fresh and Deep going to make ya creep, Big and Wide gotta get up inside, skinny and tight is surely alright, and every once in a while you just need to da-dip into the back country for that stash.
