Thought it would be cool to have a thread listing all the area mountains who are continuing operations this weekend and the ticket costs. This will be an easy way to compare and plan on where everyone is skiing / riding this weekend. (I'm guessing it may only be CB and Boulder in Pa., but we can also list others on the east coast as well.) Please post any info as we get closer and they update the details. I'll start with this... I know out west there are a lot of areas that need to close by mid April due to the forestry regs or leases or something like that.

Seven springs needs to close this weekend, grass showing everywhere. Their park however has to have something coming up in it. They are building it to feature film status, some of the biggest jumps and gaps I've seen on the east coast for sure. So Stoked to ski boulder next weekend though...

Headed out to Pittsburgh a day earlier, so going to seven springs....well kinda Wife is afraid of heights (aka terrified of ski lifts) and I have both of the little ones who aren't good enough to be solo or do harder terrain ( Hunters only been once ) .....looks like it'll be my first ever ( hopefully last ) day of tubing. The kids should have fun which is the goal... Zachary and I wanted to ski, Hunter wanted to tube, Wife wanted to shop. Tubing > shopping or swimming in hotel pool for me. Hopefully somewhere is open next weekend when Mike gets home so I can relocate my balls and end the season on a high note.

If they open next weekend, I will be there.....Serch just may get a day in this season after all.. Damn I sure hope he can...

They have the snow and anyone who skied there last weekend knows they had the people to stay open for sure.. With the other mountains closed (except Boulder which leaves CB to pretty much monopolize all the non park peeps), they would be pretty dumb not to cash in on at least one more weekend IMO

This kinda sounds like it may be the last weekend.... Hope NOT though... would be stellar to make it into April.....

wow really?? 10" of new snow and crusty, that's some ripley's believe it or not shit there unless the 10" wasn't all snow. (freezing rain, hail, etc.. mixed in)

Glad you enjoyed yourselves, Jfbb has a great teaching program that really cares about the customer having a fun and safe time while learning. It makes me happy to read that one of my fellow instructors saved someone's day. Someone's first day on the slopes can lead to disaster or fuel a lifelong Passion for the sport we all know and love.
