No valid excuse this time around, didn't look at the weather too good and figured they got the rain that we got here and it would icy or hardpack at best. Chose to go tomorrow instead as I thought that was the day my homies from blue were heading up to JF... bad choice I guess, didn't do shit today worthwhile except laundry. I dropped the ball bigtime.

No TR from me this time around. Mike and I got to BB at 2:36 and was on the slopes by 2:45... Ran into Dan and lapped Bunny Schuss and Elbow, Draufganger (which I have researched to mean Daredevil in German), Boulder Trail(sans jumps like it should be IMO!!!), and of course Snowdrift. A little while later Dominick arrived looking all official and shit in his JFBB teaching garb....(Stoked for you Dom!!!) Dan bolted and Dom went to go teach some lessons, Mike and I made our way across and checked out the peeps who looked to be having a blast on the hardpacked tubing runs.. The snow was hard but some real nice chalky stuff could be found on the sides. Snowdrift was the run earlier but as it got colder into the evening Boulder trail became the run to be on. Mike almost killed himself after making a jump and not paying attention after he landed. He landed and looked backwards instead of where he was going, headed straight for a lightpole and off the trail. Luckily for him he caught an edge which headed him away from the lightpole. Good night of skiing... we left around 7:20 after making a few last passes with Dom who was done with his teaching duties for the night... No pics this time.. Dom and Mike did one run of photoslutting but I just plain missed Dom and Mike's pic came out kind of crappy. No big... until next weekend.. JFBB kept it real despite the challenging weather conditions... not to mention didn't wait in one lift line all night over on the BB chair.

Serch has a commitment at church so we're heading up after that.... looks like it will be a boulder day for us on the 27th. Kinda bites for me but I'd rather go up later than have him miss out on a day of skiing. I'm guessing we'll get there around 1pm

Hey Robert....FWIW I was agreeing with you. My point for saying that peak lets Floyd's bump up was to bring up the fact that it makes it more challenging terrain. More challenging terrain = higher likelyhood of injury (not always the case however)

Floyd's is a black diamond by Pa. standards, and it's not ALWAYS groomed daily... peak has let it bump up pretty frequently from time to time..

Delco got pounded with 2 feet of the good stuff. I spent last night shovelling until the early hours,and overslept. Serch and I didn't make it onto the slopes until 10ish. Soon after we met up with Smartass and Pa Ridge Racer who was making his way over from Big Boulder. The goods were there for the getting!! Serch and I stayed until closing and made up for our lost time in the am. Spent most of the day in the trees...Elevator Glade -- LOVE IT!! Challenge Glade -- LOVE IT!!! Janes Lane Glade -- SWEET mini creek jump near the bottom!! T-Bolt Glade -- Needed some love, but skiable nonetheless.. The Elevator.... It's Back!! Enough of the jibber jabber...
