And I forgot to mention they made snow last night. Montage didn't make a whole lot of snow in March

Pics are of the SBX course on Upper Runaway (and the guy wearing a dog coat, or something). I'd write a tr, but I'm sure most of us experienced pretty much the same thing in the Poconos today. Perfect snow, just cold enough temps, and lots of sun. Ran into Snoskier, who was free-heeling it this morning. Jeez, that looks like way too much work. Now that I know who you are, we'll def have to take some runs down on the NF. Both he and ski Head were kinda bummed Doug was a no-show. Even though the right side of the parking lot was only about 40% full, today probably set a March ticket sales record. No lift lines at all---maybe 20 chairs between people on Long Haul---but you sometimes had to wait for someone to wander off a headwall so you could take an empty run. Seems like all the people were skiing Mainline and Highball. Upper/Lower Fast Track was the best run, IMO, with Boomer right behind. Oh, and welcome all you Elk season passholders! Holy crap there were a lot and they even started some stealth sticker placement on the Shuttle bus windows. Trying to bring some business back? Today was the best day of the season.

Ha, I ate it bad right after the corkscrew yesterday and it put someone in the hospital today. It's pretty fun! I took a pic of him today for my tr I'll do later....

Corey, you're starting to make BB sound like a fucking joke. Just to act like a shithead flamer, you're trying to tell people not to take a shot riding the SBX while it's still up. Is BB the new flamer hill? Is that the rep you're looking to bring there? Someone pointed out who you were and you ride like a little bitch. No wonder the NF scares you---you'd fall on your ass the whole way down WL. BTW, regarding the Chevy Rev tour at Sno: the riders from Vermont and New Hampshire all said they had a blast. You were wrong. Your flamer friends were wrong. Rob, the King Dosh, was 100% wrong. When it came down to it, Sno proved every one of you idiots wrong. And that's guys who do smokin' 900's out of a 22' pipe. They have a little more cred than you whiners. Corey, if you want to grow up and be a real flamer, at least have something behind your posts. You're a bunch of empty words. And, btw, almost half your posts since joining PASR have been about me. Sorry, but you can put your little mini-boner away---I'm not interested.

Snake's an okay new run. It's a gentle, fairly narrow cruise that winds through the woods. It's actually a good addition for upper mountain kind of skiing. The SBX was crazy. Props to dwy33 and his crew for making Upper Runaway into something that insane. I guess when the snowmakers give you snow, you can make shit really happen. I heard there was an epic crash on WL just before 2:30pm. And I'm probably the easiest person at Sno to find Bummer that Doug bailed on Sunday, though. Everyone on PASR should take at least one one lift ride with him...

The $99 March pass in the other thread is a nice deal, especially this year with so much base.

Parents of a group of competitors from New Hampshire---who looked like they'd just stumbled out of a Grateful Dead concert---rated the food a C and the pipe a B.
-
Jeez, Lib, you sounded like a pro.

The guys that went off around 2pm were amazing. It was funny riding the Iron Horse and people on the chair were going "Holy crap!" Some the the crashes in practice were pretty cool...
-
That's sure an interesting way to look at it...so more ticket sales, then have them all over to the east side (Runaway/Fastrack) to enjoy the new toy, which creates a win/win situation? You might be as smart as Method
-
Ha, that's very cool...
-
Nick was posing for pics with the moose at the last passholder's party. No, Nick, I won't do it to you...
-
What about the girl you introduced me to. Is she busy?
-
Wow, it looks great. I only saw it from ground level when it was set up. It's kind of funny to look at it...like it's out of place with the lifts just running up among maple trees instead of mountain peaks.
-
Rob can hook you up in the parking lot. You're not coming to Sno, Sunday, are you?
-
Ha, it's def not a pic from BC or BB... Method: are you "method" because you like to ride pipe? Eh, that's a serious question.
-
Wow, size 6 is tiny. You might end up with Mondo 15, which is toddler 8. For some reason I vaguely remember we had her in three pairs of socks to sort of fit into boots that were too big...but it's def not hurting any kind of performance thing...I recall Rb saying he had t stick balled up newspapers in his kid's boots. Ty was on an Apple-Rise stick at six months around our yard and at our home hill, then had her first season pass at CB at 18 months...with skiing, it's never too early.

From Wikipedia: The name moose is derived from the Algonquian Eastern Abnaki name moz, meaning "he trims, shaves".

Corey, maybe you should go chill on NS and beef up on your flaming skills. I just don't know what the hell you're trying to say. Sorry, dude.

There isn't really anything scientific about trail ratings in America. You could make the case that Boomer has a longer sustained headwall, so it's more daunting to a skier/rider. My 7 yr old loves Boomer, but thinks Smoke is easier if it's bumped up. The main slope at our ski hill in The Hideout is rated as a black diamond...it's a little over 100' vert.

Yep. Combination sherpa/psychologist.

Corey, we're goofing around about mascots. If you're feeling crampy, then go use the bathroom and get off me case, okay? And just for the record, I average 6 posts per day. Sorry that disturbs you.
