Very cool, Jamie! The drifting and blowing snow at Mount Snow didn't seem to bother a former CAT
-
Ha, that was great. I never thought to check NELSAP for info on it...
-
Ooops, I meant Saturday's GS...Friday is Windham's SG; Sunday is SL at Hunta. Ski Plattekill is in Roxbury, NY, and can be seen from Belleayre (Highmount). Here's a quick gif from Mapquest:

Going to Hunta to escape the rude and wreckless? Justin, I suppose anything is possible on a Tuesday.

After some rough terrain park days, Rob drives home a bruised Nipples. I think Glenn would give me a 2 day ban if I finished my thought about Bob. Give a shout if you see an orange helmet...

You know, MS, for a free season pass I'd manage their freaking website. But if I ever tried emailing them or calling, they'd never bother to get back to me--like they don't about anything else. I bet they spent a fortune to have someone design it as a one-time thing, but the java, frames, and everything else is too hard for them to maintain or update. They are still listing the November pre-season pass sale in the marquee.

Anyone wanna play "Where's Zaldon?" in the picture?

I blew off both ASRA's this weekend to take Ty to Montage NASTAR. Now I'll have to head to NY to try and score some points in my age class, but no regrets.

Smoking her competition by SECONDS in today's ASRA slalom race at Blue, 'Mom took first in her class Bitchin' 'Mom!!!!!
-
Probably 10 more people there today, but the snow was much better. Lots of sun and apparently lots of free Sam Adams beer being given away.
-
Ha, we were trying to figure out what the shapes from melted spots looked like. This one's sorta dinosaurish (on Highball)... Conditions were a lot like that last week before they close for the year. Still plenty of snow, but nobody skiing.
-
I just talked to 'Mom and 'Dude is out on Cliffy practicing for tomorrow's Cup#2... Good luck guys, kick some ass on your home hill!
-
Doug mentioned that Blue had some crowds today...some attributed to the PA Cup openers...but what were other ski area crowds like? Zaldon and I double dated today at Montage and our four made up a good portion of the "crowd". Were there normal Saturday lift lines elsewhere, or is it more dead than usual at other places?

So how did it go?
-
Scranton hit 57 degrees today, which shattered the old high of 49.

Camden is a bad, bad place, brother Skitzo. And I don't care if there are nice parts, it's still Camden. Our last home was in the Hiltonia section of Trenton, which was ritzy and sh*t, but two blocks out of our neighborhood you could buy crack/women/smack/whatever. I'm glad you're someplace safer now.
-
Great that you are BACK, Zaldon!
-
Although......what guy would risk having people believe he's a cat lover just to be clever? Both are guys---the same one.
-
Doug, you've already been replaced. That was like record quick.
-
Camden just made some news shows as the most dangerous city in America, from official police reports. I can't imagine there's too many skiers in that city.
-
Great news broke! I was in Camden's (NJ) ER once (after a nightclub fight in Cherry Hill that wasn't my fault) and was told that I had a .22 caliber bullet lodged somewhere in my shoulder. Wrong xray. Mine was a fractured wrist.
-
Shadows not buying it.

Rob, they may want to reword that, since it makes it sound that they are holding the clinic on Howlesen Hill (it's spelled wrong in that cut and paste). Howlesen Hill makes Big Boulder seem like a megaresort, except for the ski jump area, which is pretty cool. Just wanted to offer a heads up. .
