    Elk is not Bankrupt

I married into a family of Star Trek and Star Wars geeks/dweebs/nerds. It can be horrible at times.

Jeez, 'Dude, you're becoming sort of Yoda-like (and even though I despise Star Wars, I mean it as a compliment).

    Tuning Equipment

That would have been my question, as well. It's like saying you only change the oil in your car once...
  4. Are you serious? How could any real skier or boarder actually have a SINGLE negative comment about a ski area busting it's *ss to open early? That's crazy.
  5. 162 miles! So, uh, any Greek Peak staff coming down to the Poconos for some great skiing this weekend?

You're saying they declared bankrupcty over their snow phone line? Hahahahahahaha...funny. You are either goofing or an employee is in a sh*t load of trouble.
  7. Zonked is a horse chick, so 'Mom's gotta take that into consideration, 'Dude.
  8. It's called "10 Weeks to Torino", Sundays at 5pm...it's a 90 minute show. Here's a link: http://www.skiracing.com/tv_guide/ The "10 Weeks" refers to the 10 weeks left before the Olympics once the World Cup comes to Beaver Creek (this weekend). Steve Porino did all the race commentary and only mentioned Chad Fleischer in passing, as if Chad were sick... Some of the writers were pretty tough on Bode: LAKE LOUISE, Alberta (AP) -- Bode Miller flailed, faltered and fumbled. In the end, Miller's best move was a nimble jump over the fencing in the finish area that allowed him to avoid explaining his tumultuous run at the season's first World Cup downhill race on Saturday. One of the circuit's top gliders, Miller entered the race as a favorite, having posted his first World Cup downhill victory here last year with a dominant run. But the World Cup overall champion never looked in contention as he wobbled down the men's Olympic course barely in control to finish a distant 22nd, 1.47 seconds off the pace set by reigning Olympic champion Fritz Strobl of Austria.
  9. This is already the best thread ever.
  10. Every step in the parking lot that you take in your boots eats away at the effectiveness of your boot to binding contact. Are you listening Jeff? I saw you do it and I watched little pieces of boot being left behind...
  11. Yeah, that was quite the concession to get 90 minutes, which includes setting up and pulling gates...
  12. Link to results:RailJam
  13. This is the prom version I've heard a bunch of times with Dre: http://www.lyricsfreak.com/s/snoop-dogg/127119.html Cedar Crest College, eh? I do their sports pics...nice place to work
  14. CB has had this stupid dance going on for years. There's a race team, but no place for the kids to 'open' it up. Raceway is okay for training J4/5's (the youngest racers), but mostly a waste of time for J1/2's. Rocket would be perfect, but they get it for a very limited time. So you have a bunch of racers training on the mountain with a bunch of Rangers whistling at them to slow down. That possible trail someone mentioned that connected Nile Mile with Cliffy? How about some CAT parents with chainsaws and crowbars...problem solved.
  15. Ha, no way...with the Dre intro??? Man, if you can pull that off, you deserve the karaoke babes.
  16. Doug, you're snagging karaoke babes? Do you have a, uh, signature song? It made for a pretty good King of Queens the other night..."From here on, you can call me Neil or Mr. Diamond..."
  17. Ha, that's funny. And much better than you looking like a 10 yr old girl.
  18. Or maybe not
  19. Nah, my hair's been the same color since I was four. Now about that "it" comment
  20. Ha, how bad was that before the edit?
  21. Ha, thanks, and she was wondering where you, 'Dude, and 'Mom were today...I guess if we're not at Montage, we must be at your hill... And, btw, Blue Mt: "Children 6 and under FREE when accompanied by an adult." Props to Blue for that...
  22. I think it's pretty cool that Doug and POC were all over this. They weren't dissing in ANY way, just setting the facts straight. And I'm sure BC Chick appreciates getting the correct facts. But I think that free pass sitting there is some sort of a trap, Doug...don't do it, pal Oh, and I just wanted to let you all know that The Hideout bulldozers have been busy and we now have the largest vertical in PA at 3,162ft. And we're buying Blue's entire lift system, so you guys better get used to hiking.
  23. Come to think of it, they were actually comp tickets from one of my best ski buds. Ha, that's my goal!
  24. You bet! That's exactly what we did a lot of.
  25. Yes, but eventually...well, check my avatar.
