    New trails?

Hehehehe....I suppose it's hard for Colorado locals to know what falls out of PA clouds. Rarely does natural PA snow billow up from your edges and leave a cloud behind, while dry manmade does. That's how I judge new snow. But, then again, I prefer skiing after it's rained, then frozen over...talk about heresy, eh?
  2. Yeah, if you're over 21, there are plenty of choices of clubs in Scranton, including Tink's, which has four floors with different kinds of music on each. If you're over 41, there's even a disco-type club called Flashback. And Scranton is the bowling capitol of the planet.

    New trails?

Rattler was open today. Snoskier's description is dead on...they borrowed the netting from the left side, so you have to be careful about those trees, for sure. Upper Runaway was closed this weekend for grooming. They piled up tons of snow and just started grooming it after lunch today. They made snow all over the mountain last night, which I didn't really understand----and I'm sure not complaining. Cannonball had a few inches of smokey powder on top of cord and was amazing. Smoke and WL were bumped up---and the icy spot at the top of Smoke was fixed. Today was much better than yesterday, which just goes to show that cold snowmaking is better than typical PA natural snow.
  4. Yeah, dead silence It was open and people were hitting it. The roller to drop in from seemed plenty steep and a few people were airing out of it. They added about 75' right before they cut it, although it still seems kind of short. Longer than any pipe I've ever seen, though.
  5. The bumps were also courtesy of the snowmakers. They blew all over the mountain last night in some insane effort to increase the 120" base. Even Upper Runaway was closed yesterday and at least most of today for groomers to spread the snow whales. Cannonball had a few inches of smokey powder on top this morning, which is a blast. WL looked like an egg crate from the bottom...good stuff.
  6. You want them to tear them down and build new ones?
  7. I think Camelbeach opens tomorrow.
  8. Ha, I don't know whether I'm more impressed with CJ's tribute or the one you just made...

    New trails?

Rattler might be a good idea for allowing people to ride Long Haul and catch the lower part of Cannonball...but that's also why it's a bad idea.
  10. Wonder if they'll finally drop the rope on Snake and Sidewinder? Both trails had a hardpack, icy base, so this snow might be enough.
  11. She's been getting them fixed. When her dress fell off at that red carpet event, it was just awful. What doctor did that work and then said, "You're all set, Miss Reid!"
  12. The 'every night' thing just sounded a little bad
  13. Really? I once went a week without alcohol and it wasn't because of illness.
  14. That's actually an amazing form of moderating, Glenn. I won't expound...but it is. And it is what it is.
  15. Goodbye, little buddy!
  16. "But you won't see anymore here from me." Are you back again? C'mon, admit, you missed us while you were gone
  17. "But you won't see anymore here from me." You're back!!! It took three minutes!! Sorry, it's an adult league No teenage boys to videotape. My kids never called you obscene names or posted your telephone number on the internet. You called my 7 yr old daughter a prostitute already and I haven't talked to you in person about it. Yet. But I will. BTW, Rob, if I thought you'd learn from it, I'd explain to you exactly why your kid quit.
  18. Pal up with another teenage boy, Rob. Get your video camera out. Oh, baby! Time for a sleepover? Zip those sleeping bags together! Hahahaha, sure...thousand bucks says you can't help yourself.
  19. I posted a report about our race tonight and a new feature on WL. So you are again DEAD wrong.
  20. So you finally had a breakdown? I kind of saw it coming with your weird ramblings. You're just getting more and more creepy. The race league has 60 to 100 racers, Rob. But you're sort of out of the race loop now that you managed to raise a quitter. How's that Atomic Race Department sponsorship going? Oh, yeah, you only made that up to try to impress people. It's spelled argument. One 'e'. It's kind of a shame that you now have to be afraid of ever meeting me, isn't it? What's your fascination with men's genitals? You and KyleA sure do like to talk about them. Weird.
  21. I don't know what else to say, Toast. I know I sound mean and all, but we've had the best season ever and I like to talk about it.
  22. I don't care. I speak my mind. Every opinion I have about Sno is my own. You were dead wrong when you said I didn't have the knowledge to compare Sno to other mountains. When a bunch of kids from BC and BB bash Sno just for the sake of it, I'll tell them they are being idiots. So what? You are also dead wrong about Sno not reading this MB. They read every word. How do I know? I just sat in the bar with the owner. The owner that people have made personal attacks about and spread bullshit rumors. Just go search Old Geezer and Rob's posts. The owner of Sno authorized making a ton of snow on one of the two or three steepest trails in PA----that makes him a fucking hero to me. Don't like it? Tough shit. Track, you sure are wrong about a lot of things. Now you're worried about ad revenue for this site? Man, you take trolling to a new level. Your paragraph structure is a bit convoluted, but you seem to be saying PASR is suffering less hits and losing money because people from BB and BC and Park City aren't being encouraged to endlessly bash Sno. Get a new hobby, Track.
  23. Ha, I'm just old and have been around long enough to tell boring stories of cutting school to ski CB...in the 70's
  24. Racewax.com Ski Team took the top five spots to win tonight's Thursday Night Corporate League Race. Thanks Dr. D!!! Both the T3 and H2 waxes were almost an unfair advantage. Anyway, all I'll say is that everyone skiing Sno should head over to White Lightning for a few laps. They blew a mound of snow at the very first breakover and you can see a lot more of the slope. Normally, you have to go down about fifty yards to be sure the headwall is clear. Now, you get a little extra vert from the huge mound, as well as the extra uninterrupted section. It was cold smoke powder on WL tonight. Props to the snowmakers and groomers.
