Snowsnow, aka McKillsCB, was just a flamer from Mountain Creek. He also flamed Hunter's board, telling everyone there what a bunch of lame assholes they were and that he boarded 300+ days a year, etc... He was the main reason that RSN shut down the MC board. Even though he hated every mountain but MC, he was a 'hater' of everyone on the MC board. Those guys were trying to find out who he was so they could kill him. Funny, but I think at least two guys that were instructors almost got beaten up---or were beaten up---after being mistaken for Snowsnow.

Nope. They left my accounts up long enough for me to read them. Bottom line, though, was that they started addressing me by my business partner's name, trying to intimidate me, thinking it was me. They were confused by the accounts our season passes were listed in. And then they both went waaay over the line. Atomic knows about it and is free to pass it along by PM to you. Snowsnow threatened one of the girls on our Yahoo board. So I set him up with an anonymous proxy that ran through a Cobalt Blue server that a friend owns. Then I crashed his computer hard. When Snowsnow shows up these days, he's much more careful about what he does. Okay, happy thoughts now.
-
Say whaaaaat? Hmmm. Any of you guys end up needed info on how to find and configure anonymous proxies after Dickheads ban you, just lemme know. I hate to be disagreeable, but they are both Dickheads to me. I'd post some of the PM's they sent me, but they kept banning my accounts until I threatened to share my evil knowledge. Oh, and then they get all warm and fuzzy. But they both did something extremely personal to me that was outside the confines of a MB. And my offense? Crashing and burning Snowsnow's computer because he was flaming. My plan is to use restraint and vigorously attempt not slapping both those boys. Venting complete.

Dickhead post #1: "I believe Davey J's comments above have addressed this issue. As such, I'm locking this topic. Dave K Camelback" Dickhead post #2: "Boy, we have a busy day and get behind schedule and the natives get restless... Seriously, pictures were taken earlier today, but it's been extremely busy around here. I would say that you could cut us a little slack, don't you think? Dave K Camelback" I'm thinkin' DaveK's trying to oust DaveJ as King Dickhead.

And, btw, Skidude, at JF you finished 23rd out of 36 registered NE Division racers (some you beat, some crashed, some were DNS), earning 8 points toward the Regional Qualfier quota. So if 17 of those NE guys earn automatics by being in the top 45 after the first four PA Cup races, you'd be on pace to make Finals. The LAST word on this: the World Cup point system was designed to reward people that take chances and either do great or crash. It isn't meant for being consistantly 20th. If a racer finishes 20th four times, he gets 44 points (11 points for each race). Win once and crash three times, and you have 100 points. Got it? It's why Bodie skis all-balls-out.

You qualify for PARA Finals by World Cup points through the first four races (2 at 7Springs/2 at Blue). 1st place=100 points 2nd place= 80 points 3rd=60 4th=50 5th=45 6th=40 7th=36 etc. down to 1 point for 30th place. It's the same scale as the FIS World Cup. So, for example, if you finish 6th in all four of the qualifing races, then you'd have 240 points. The cutoff for how many racers are invited to Finals depends on how many J1/2 racers there are each year. Last year, there were about 90 boys, or so. About the top 45 guys received "automatics", by being in the top 45 in World Cup points at the end of the first four races. Then, each of the four PARA Regions (CB is in the NE Division, along with Blue and BB/JF)) gets "quotas". Which means, your division gets another five or six based on regional qualifying races. These spots are filled by guys who are not already automatics. So you take all the CB, Blue, and BB/JF boys, remove the guys who are in the top 45 in points and invite the next six remaining who did the best at qualifiers. The last way to earn a trip to Finals is through "discretionary" spots. Each region gets a couple of discretionary spots, where the coaches can place guys who are deserving, yet had injuries or barely missed a cutoff in points. In the end, about 60 boys race at PARA Finals; about 45 girls. The next step? Well, your add up all the World Cup points from the seven PARA Cup races and the top couple go to the Eastern J1/2 Junior Olympics and race the top skiers from NY, VT, NH, ME, Tri-State, and SARA. The PARA guys that just miss JO's go the Eastern Finals.

Skidude, you're supposed to ski so fast that everything but the gates are a blur! And your attitude sucks! You have a slalom and two GS races at Elk!!!!!!
-
Okay, mark your calendars. Everyone needs to waste $38 on a morning ticket and head to Blue. Two goals: root for Skidude in his first important GS; and, try to see if we can seriously jeopardize Atomic's season pass with some good old peer pressure. And, Skigurl, have you gotten your forms all filled out? Will we be seeing you? Hmm?
-
The Taliban would have cut your nads off, but you're 100% safe in America. Perhaps Dave is a Taliban?
-
Hey, now that you're on a roll and are beating a dozen people at races, you are fair game to be picked on.
-
Punch Skidude really, really hard. Peace will envelope you and your pain will leave.

Yes. I met her. It is highly likely that she was a MILF in 1972. She's been making the conditions report for almost 30 years. There was no internet when I was in high school. We called that number about 500 times each season and it absolutely freaked me out to meet her. Kind of like meeting the "You've got mail" AOL guy, I guess.
-
Ever met her? She's one of the secretaries in the new office building. I bet she was really hot back in 1972.

Well, the CB live cam at 4pm on Saturday looked a little like Woodstock II. I went to Montage at 7pm and kept skiing right up to the lift. It had been incredibly busy earlier, though, since some cars were parked in places that had never seen a car before. I may head to Jack Frost in the morning to watch a little of Skidude's race, but those narrow runs don't hold crowds at all. Tuesday should be a good day to ski...
-
But are they worse because they are bigger aholes or because they have tighter rules? I just haven't experienced the constant flow of ahole Rangers anywhere like CB. Maybe it's because the diamonds are completely separate, but I ski at Montage now and I don't feel like I'm being WATCHED.

The Daves are in kind of a strange position. They have to administer a message board that is filled with different personalities and ideas. The message board is more popular than most because you guys post a lot and keep it alive, so casual surfers become interested and join in. I mean, who wants to post to a dead board? But then they come down hard on you for expressing an opinion about the one thing that most share the same strong opinon about: Rangers. If an employee, which includes people compensated with free skiing, acts like an asshole to me, then I'm going to express that. Period. All but one Ranger has acted like either a casual or full-fledged asshole to me. Was the Blue Ski Patroller that pulled us over last week curtious, while still giving us a hard time? I think so. And so we basically kept off his 'slow' trail and went elsewehere to run over little girls. Perhaps CB management should stay away from hiring pissed-off, wanna-be NJ State Cops that keep failing the physicals. (Yes, there's at least one of those.)
-
Ah, so that's the history. It was something similar that created the Yahoo Group. One of the Daves kept joining and then quitting every few days, just to spy, I guess. Then DaveK PM'd me that the pictures were going too far...something about personal attacks and insults. I said, "Why yes, that's what they are." We haven't been best friends ever since.
-
Does anyone have a copy of the PM the Daves sent out telling them to stop bashing Rangers on the other board? C'mon and share.
-
It's been a nightmare season for the Daves and the other Bagdad Bobs. Christmas week is supposed to account for a pretty large percent of the overall revenue of the entire season and it was warm and rainy, with limited terrain. And then most areas closed for a few days to begin the new year. So when it gets cold, it gets too cold, even in the cities. Maybe they'll be tempted to blow a little more snow in Feb. and keep the lifts running an extra couple of weeks in the spring to try and make up for such a bad start.
-
No, that's either golf or quarters.
-
Jeez, it must be the cold. 'First' to the finish wins. Otherwise, that'd be a really stupid race. In movies like Hot Dog, some wore spiked armour.
