Sorry, IDK if it's 10 or 15%...Ty just handed me the change from her Dippin' Dots and french fries and said the lady told her the discounts were now being honored. I'm pretty sure it doesn't apply to the bar, but what would it get me if I bought you a bottle of tequila? Being my ski bud takes a lot of work...you have to keep guessing what flavor Mento I put in your mouth and make up stories about where the lift is really taking us. Now, about the tequila deal...

According to Blue's new calendar, it's still the same: http://www.skibluemt.com/SkiBlue/calendar.aspx

Ty had a half day of school so we pulled into the lot around 2pm...I was expecting more cars, but it was still pretty empty. We parked right next to the blue ticket trailer by the Phoebe. It sort of felt like the calm before the storm of holiday skiers/riders. The snow was soft and very carvable...we saw Nick a few times. Someone thought it was a good idea to let him have the key to the tool shed, so he was skiing around with snow rakes and dynamite blasting caps. Oh, and the passholder discounts are now being honored in the cafeteria... And Ty joined the Development Team...looks like I've lost my ski bud starting tomorrow at 8:15am...

Wait, I wasn't talking about the older guy as the one who always knows where we park. I'm guessing Old Time Eddie is the more senior of the two?

CB does have some weird rules. I remember one or two coaches complaining they couldn't take their jackets home. I recall it was all because of some phantom incident at another mountain...a CB instructor supposedly got into trouble while wearing it. Don't know if it's true, but that was what a supervisor told the coach. And Joe's usually a real nice guy. Maybe with the new job he's not so cheery, but he was never once a dick when I knew him.

Pretty soon you guys will agree with me that all lawyers are scumbags (except when they are also PASR members)...

We have three or four sets of Cat Tracks, but the heel pieces are sort of big and I don't like skiing with them in my pocket. The guy who is maybe in his late 50's or so is the best driver. For the last three years, I never have to tell him where we parked, he knows my Jeep and just pulls right up. Customer service x1000

No, sorry, we give jibbers their space and appreciate them giving us our's when gates are set. The big thing at the top, before your cross under the Shuttle lift, looks pretty cool, though.

Ty and I went up for a couple of hours tonight and things keep moving forward...Highball is now open down to where they funnel people over to the bunny slope and the bottom of Mainline. And Spike is open, but without features. It seems like they are just a few hours of snowmaking before the lazy river is buried. You can now skate to and from the lodge, rather than having to walk through the tent. Snow conditions are great on the upper mountain and there were less than 100 people skiing/riding the fresh 1 or 2" of new snow tonight.

Would it be possible to post the dinner break times for the shuttle? I don't want to sound like I'm begrudging them their food, but we just missed him at 7:35pm tonight, then stood there until 8pm before finally giving up and walking...then, by the time we were pulling out of the lot at 8:15pm, it started running again. The pavement kills ski boots and until Lower Runaway or Lower Fast Track are open, the other NF slopes aren't an option for my little one. So, if we know when the downtime is, we'll ski around it or stow our shoes in the lodge... Thanks in advance...

Ha, any female was a blue chip last season, for sure. We're lucky to have the female we do just because she's fun to have on the team, plus she's fast. Hope you can make it back, Brian! BTW, the course was an extra gate or two longer than in prior years because there's a new finish house installed below the old building.

Melissa isn't a paralegal, but I'm sure will someday employ several.

Ha, I guarantee good 'ole Joe would have been 'friendlier' if you were Mrs. Timeless.

Elk feels like a haul for me, too, Philly. I was bumming when it looked like Montage was being shut down a few years ago.

It's a height thing more than anything else. She has to hop up and missing even once without me there will be devastating to her. They are being nice enough to waive the age requirement for her, but I sure don't want to burden them because of it. Whatever happens will be fine.

Just add whatever it takes for you to get to 476, then it's 115 miles up the TRNPK and about 10 minutes from the exit. Sno should advertise stuff like that. But I hope they don't.

I have a wrestling match at a school near Mountain Creek, Thursday

She's fine with the way the kids were catching them tonight, so there's still a possibility of the devo team. We'll just see how the next couple of weeks go.

Bingo. If people could see how the MAJORITY of judges act in their court rooms...well, they wouldn't believe it. Far too many are reminiscent of over-the-hill high school freshman teachers with bad hangovers. The wacko Florida judge who heard one part of the Anna Nicole Smith case, Larry Seidlin, is more the norm than anything else. Of course, we have wonderful nuts like Judge Ann Lokuta in these parts... Melissa, we should probably talk about Asian massages and happy endings on the lift instead...or I'll just end up really offending you.

Google images brings up my website...most people don't know, but I'm AKA "Pennsylvania's Terror". But it was a long time ago. cole

So, are you gonna share your password to that site with us?

IMO, the biggest problem we have are judges who are legislating from the bench, which---as you point out---is NOT their job. So why do they do it on a daily basis? Yes, attorneys filing suits are just following the rules. We heard that a lot at Nuremberg, too

Melissa, we love having you here and you're surely the best new thing on PASR in a long time. But we are what we are Ho, ho, ho!

Ty and I went up for 10 quick runs and had a blast. Switch is now widened beyond the lift towers; Spike is being hit really hard and ready to be set up; and, Highball is almost ready to go, which will get the beginners out of the Mainline park. They were also getting the Shuttle lift ready---it was running (without riders). The wind finally died down and it felt pretty comfortable. Sno's going to have a big time Xmas week...probably bigger than any during the Montage days. They'll def be 100% open...

That's okay. You'd be a little mad at me if you went to Melissa's website.
