Word is that the lifts will be running at least through the first weekend of April...
-
Props to Melissa for coming out and racing tonight!!!! Can I tell people how you crashed and burned on run one, then smoked the course on run two to beat a whole bunch of women in the amateur division? They official liked you as a person, but hated that you just showed up and out-skied them. Moreover, thank you for the lap dance in the bar.

The Racewax.com Ski Team swept the top four spots in the season finale of the Sno Mountain Thursday Night Corporate Race League to clinch the season-long Pro Division title. Thanks to my teammates Andrea, Mike, Chris, Bob, Art, CJ, and Brian, some of the fastest and nicest people I've ever skied with. Thanks also, of course, to Dr. D for whipping up waxes that blow away the best of both Swix and Toko.

Check in/registration is between 5 and 6pm at the ski school chalet...the building beyond the lodge, down by Shuttle lift. The closer to 5pm the better, since the course often opens around 5:30-5:45pm. $8 race fee. That's nothing for high powered attorney. Register as an independent, then ride up Shuttle and ski over to the start house. Easy. Party in the Grille at 8pm, or so.

Why not come race tonight, enjoy the free buffet for racers, then tell Dennis Carlson how much you want to ski into April? You are out of excuses, Melissa. You will, btw, beat 1/3 of the racers there...

That is the TR of all TR's....wow.
-
I believe 'Kitten has that same attitude. I'm just sayin'...
-
I....I....thought for a second you were...
-
You're gonna miss it so much when you move away, Melissa.
-
Yeah, you'd think a PA ski area would open at 3pm. Get the kids and after work adults, plus you preserve the snow better.
-
Who are you comparing to a World Cup athlete?
-
Oh, yeah, that's where I saw her! I don't remember her doing any sort of flips, but she's really into it.
-
Sshhhhhhhhh....Dustin, it's over. Relax. Stop fighting.
-
I yelled at you in a PM because of what you publicly posted. Jeez, just go away. Put me on ignore if you hate my TR's.
-
Uh, you're the one coming after me, son. I'm telling you to knock it off. Okay?
-
We homeschool, but she attends a public school (for social reasons) where they are learning to tell time in 2nd grade....it's brutal up here, Poc. Brutal.
-
Let it go, nfg....just find a peaceful place and go relax in it...I hate to say it, but even Chippy could kick your butt and he's afraid of loud noises... BTW, are you really a cheerleader?

The snow will have firmed up perfectly, Melissa. My kid has my permission to cut school as often as she wants to ski She has her mom's brains, anyway....
-
Well, my sick kid was jonesing to get outdoors after missing her third straight day of school, so we headed up for a few laps this afternoon. High 30's and a bright blue sky...the snow was soft and we didn't pass---or get passed---on a half dozen laps down Cannonball. You really start noticing the sun a little higher in the sky these days...

No I'm not, Johnny. I have nothing against freestyle at all. How could I, since I have friends that freestyle? And I used to compete in bumps...there's no battle, no fight. Some kid works in a ski shop for a couple of weeks and knows more than a Volkl or Atomic factory rep, then so be it. Bump, freestyle, aerial, recreational racing and every other form of skiing tweaks what has been tested under the most extreme conditions. It's not a debate and would be the dumbest argument ever.
