Boeri had a whole ad campaign with that mouse...as well as an earthworm with a helmet sitting next to a bird and some others. Here's another, but I don't ever remember seeing it released in a US magazine:

Terrain park key for Sno Mountain BY EVAN GOODENOW STAFF WRITER 12/07/2006 Standing on a muddy, pockmarked portion of Montage Mountain on Wednesday amid stacked tree limbs and a grinding backhoe, Ryan Neptune imagined the half-pipe snowboarding trail he is designing for the Sno Mountain ski resort.

I think so...all the trail signs are plastered with snow, though. I know it wasn't the race slope that MC and I spent Tuesday on, but more toward skier's left. BTW, MC only takes a leak at the top of trails and NOT at the middle, even if it's more private, because he doesn't want to waste a run. That's obsession. And, yeah, Jeff, I'm takin' all my ski buds out for drinks when that happens. F*ck, was it really that long ago when I was trying to make you feel better that I'd smoked you on a course? Ah, the good old days...

Yeah, that instructor had it rough for a couple of lessons. Poor guy, I would cringe when they'd assign me a private or semi-private with someone in their 20's that had "skied a couple of times when they were younger". Percentages have it that they are going to end up crying or doin' that weird hysterical laugh. All possibility of learning shuts down. Ty was a blast tonight...first run of the year and she tucked that run, with me trying to catch up, scared crapless that she was going to bite it hard. Then, she did it on the second run. So I took her to the top of the mountain and let her get it out of her system. Then, we headed back down to that lift...what a great, wide and straight fall line run to practice on...in fact, I always forget what a nice ski area BB is. The race course for J4/5's is awesome and I even took my wife to BB on our third or fourth date. We made a long ski vid that I made MC sit through when he was here to grass ski. Again, props to BB for doing everything right for us early season visitors...

(Thanks, Poc, but it's pretty easy to do fun stuff with your kids...it's actually a good excuse to do things you normally wouldn't do. I almost bowled a 200 the other day---with bumpers )
-
Yeah, she has one but I don't---too many stickers ended up in bad places at the mountain formerly known as Montage and I'm too scared of being blamed.

Hey, Poc, she's still a couple of inches from gettin' her butt up on the chair. That's a big deal, 'cause it'll keep her off the devo team this season. Such is life. She can ski a diamond, but can't get on a lift...cool, though, was that she put the bar up every time and gets off the lift alone. The bright side is that she still needs me Ha, we're looking at the PA Cup...we'll just shoot for those. And, yeah, she gets to use poles for 1/2 the time; I carry them the other half.

Ty opened her ski season with me tonight at BB...we arrived just as the sun set and skied 20 runs. It was funny that overly ambitious newbie ski instructors kept trying to give us tips. Some tips were a little suspect, to say the least, but it was cool that they were lovin' their jobs. What a difference a day makes, though. It was about 40 degrees and all the guns were quiet, as opposed to last night's blizzard. Again: thanks to BB for letting my 6 yr old ski for free

We collectively bashed JF/BB for their new policy of having to validate season passes daily, which is still the worst idea ever... But props to BB for the all-balls-out snowmaking they've been doing. When I pulled in, I thought there was no way it was really open. Guns were blasting every slope, top to bottom. But they did a great job of strategically aiming the guns just high enough to allow for passable visibility, even though they were dumping some of that new snow into the woods. And, Sno Mountain skiers: those guns were from the same company (SMI) that is overhauling our mountain's system Lasty, props again for the ticket pricing for little kids: "6 & under FREE SnoPass Lift Ticket ONLY with paying adult." The only reason I'm making the trip back down tonight and paying $27 to ski is because of that policy. I'd have to pay $22 for Ty to ski Camelback tonight (if they were open).

I honestly don't get what was so funny. I missed the joke, Rob, could you explain it in detail? Thanks!

He's already skied in NY and VT and booked a trip to Wyoming.

Metzy, I'm a little curious what you expected out of MC and Jeff...try asking them for advise about girls... Anyway, skiing is mostly about core strength, balance, and leg strength. Work your abs like crazy, including weighted sit-ups. There are a ton of websites that have good ab workouts. Hers'a site I use: http://www.greatabsguide.com/html/index.ph...s&subpag=10 For leg strength and balance, try running a dry river bed, jumping from rock to rock.

They used to make us suffer for a few days with just Mainline...then get either Boomer, Smoke, or Cannonball open on the North Face. The new guns change everything, though. These are tower mounted and don't have to be dragged around by ATV's and constantly repositioned. They'll probably open with top and bottom skiing, then open more slopes in rapid succession. I'm sure they want to show off the new firepower.

and Tom Petty pushing the gurney...(TP1?) Not real dead celebs, TP4...there are other sites with real dead celebs. These are just celebs that play roles of dead people. necrobabes
-
Yeah, that's the one...Kim Bassinger... I found an interesting site called necrobabes. It has shots of celebs in their "dead" roles. Here's one of Bassinger:
-
Didn't he have music video where he carried around and danced with a dead chick, then ate her alive because she was made out of cake from the neck down? An Alice in Wonderland thing? Crappy music sort of all blends together
-
IDK, Justin, you seem to listen to a lot of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers...
-
But it never gets old seeing it posted
-
May I, in all seriousness, ask you a question? Okay... Have you ever walked into a classroom and announced you were pounding shots the night before and were still pretty drunk? No, not really. And I'm honestly curious as to why you're so pissy with so many of us all the time. Do you really ski?

Man, you're like talking to Doug when he calls me at 3am in the middle of one of his week long benders... And like I always tell Doug: "Drink more and drive faster!" Again: next Sunday is the broadcast for the casual viewer. The more hardcore fans have had to buy an online subscription service this year. Some people get live coverage, while others get 'same day' coverage. So try highlighting this in red: "For those interested and don't have the online WC subscription..." Then, drink more and drive faster!

Yep, skierboi is totally right about canting. Sneakers stolen from the lodge? Well, I don't wear brand new Nike Airs to ski, but I've left my North Face trail sneakers just about everywhere and they haven't been stolen. At Blue, I stick them on top of the orange lockers nearest the ticket window at the base lodge. And, yeah, I know you walked back to your car with your boots, Jeff. My dog also eats his poop, even though I yell at him. But you and my dog just keep doin' it (anyone else notice skierboi's 16 days?)
-
And just to add... General consensus is that we like your mean attitude, but just don't ALWAYS be mean to us. There are lots of Epic people to harass and get it out of your system
-
They are too bulky for me...the heel piece is like carrying a big triangle. If I use them, which is rare because I almost always boot up in the lodge, I slip my 4-digit lock through them and lock them to a ski rack. I guess the only recent times I've used them are for MC races, when I go back down to my Jeep between the morning GS and the afternoon slalom races.

Jeez, at least look into something before you shoot your mouth off. YOU ARE COMPLETELY WRONG WHEN YOU SAY "...if I waited 2 days to post, the race still wouldn't have aired. So there goes that argument." The race is carried online, both live and on a delay, depending on what subscription service you choose. Or, people can wait over a week and catch it on NBC. So, uh, it seems you NEED to be lectured because you don't seem to understand. And that's why I didn't bitch at you too hard when you first did it: I assumed it was an honest mistake and not malicious. Okay, is that clear? There are multiple ways to watch World Cup racing, not just on NBC. I didn't say don't post about it, just wait TWO days before including results in a header. And I don't understand why it's so hard to exclude the winner in a header. Does it somehow detract from the rest of the post? And you're threatening to post results right after every race? Is you're goal at PASR to have just about everyone think you're a dick? Again, what exactly is your problem with me? What specifically did I ever do or say to you to get this kind of crap? Man, take a step back, dude.
