A lot of times when you think conditions are going to be shitty they turn out to be pretty good...Even with a little rain....

I didn't skin up...Just messed around where they hold lessons..Took the skins off then rode the lift up... I did send an email to ski patrol about up hill travel on the West Valley school trail using the logic of practicing and knowing your equipment before you go into the "backcountry"....but was met with a no go... They said they had a lot of inquiries about uphill travel this year... Can't @toast21602 call Barb up and make this happen....

Weather on Friday shows a high of fifty goin down to 20 at night.....

If you want to ski you will do what ever they want you to do...

Then don't ski....

First taste of sliding on skins....Took two runs on Paradise with it clipped together with no issues...

My head hurts now....

Going to try and make it up there tomorrow am to try out the splitboard set up....

Yea...That's what I thought...Gonna try the Valley school hill first tho....

UPS delivered my skins today...Gonna try trim and fit them this afternoon...Hopefully Blue doesn't get all pissy if I try them out on the school hill....

I would do the snowboard first since she has no experience with either...From my teaching days I found it more difficult to teach skiers to snowboard than to teach someone who has never skied to snowboard....I snowboarded for a good 15 years before I got on skis...Skiing was pretty easy to learn...But ultimately her choice..

I feel XC skiing has gained some popularity with social distancing regulations.....Prolly snowshoeing too...

I'd do Jacobsburg or Trexler or anywhere as long as the trails not all screwed up or steep...doesn't necessarily have to have a track....

I can do tomorrow afternoon... Maybe one of the rail trails?...
