When I taught at BC I had a repeat student whose mom was a bunny at Vernon Valley...

I thought condition were quite good this morning..Pedal to the metal on the first few..By 9:45 the lift lines were just overwhelming... Chill time in the lot with five star tacos from Enjo...

Super fun time this morning...First run down NMDW was buttery smooth..You could really lay it down...Hit it again before doin Switch and Side...Still good stuff to be found here and there..I just love how natural makes it so quiet...Called it after a near miss on Switch and the crowds got like whoa...

I bet you really cruise in those tracks...

What bindings did you get with them?

My snowboard boots are hybrid lace/ boa...They are around 5 yrs old and I've had to fix one of them like three times...They don't look easy to repair in the field(touring)..Maybe wait to see about durability...When boa works you can really fine tune fit...I know some people swear by them..

I'm the odd ball here,but I thought this morning was kinda nice. Switch was fun but at the merge on to LM it was a little spicy with some granola clusters to go through. NMDW you could really go for big turns through the top section. Like Switch it had the same stuff at the merge on to LP. Sidewinder was good for a few laps too. TCS was pretty slick and uneven. Driving to Blue you could tell it was gonna be a busy day..

First hour things rode great.Next hour saw things get a little feisty with the crowd and snow conditions....Switch and Side were super fun early and you could lay down some good stuff on NMDW..

Today was better than not skiing....Some real pizza talk being thrown down in the lot...

On snow bout 9:45 to no rain...The fog was pretty brutal tho....Everything looked in good shape....Light crowd with 3 lifts spinnin'....Fun morning just dickin around on the mountain..

Rolled in around 7:45ish to 33 degrees/light rain and fog on the mountain...It was interesting how the fog/mist would move around ....Sometimes you would run into weather next time it was gone...Snow was super nice/smooth......Could do pretty much do what ever you want.....Low crowds added to the fun...All lifts in operation....Moisture was starting to creep in so was gonna call it but ran into Shif and Nancy and did a bunch of runs with them...Back in the lot @enjoralas had the meats goin on under a tent...Big thanks to him for all he does...Today was a good day....

This morning was just average...Some spot good some spots meh..... Nice having the little drop before the right hander on Switchback...The start of shuttle and the base area are just a land of confusion...Next few days are gonna be hittin the gaps in the rain....

Short tour on the skinny skis....

First half hour just made you smile...Things on the Razor side lasted bout an hour...MS side held up better...Conditions the past few days have been fantastic... Driving in I got behind a dude in a C5/6 Corvette....Guy had some skills and never looked outta shape drifting it for miles...

Felt like real skiing/riding this weekend...Early open throttle runs down MS were a blast...Here is a pic from this time last year..

Super happy fun time today..Those inches of natural really added to to the flavor....Everything in play had a nice ride to it...Legit morning at Blue...

I wonder if ski too went...

I feel the weather today turned what could have been a meh day into a kinda fun day....It was cold but the sun at the top felt nice.....Paradise has been in that condition for quite a few days....Lazy is it's identical twin....Thought they would have plowed out Come a round by now... Midway/LM delivered again....Burma was good too....Feels good being on snow on a regular basis...

Around 10:30 -11ish I noticed that they had shut down a majority of the guns...and when I got to my car the temp read 28...Which trail you went on depended how much you were willing to put up with ,,Midway to LM was really nice...Lazy was kinda spicy....Saw PSU Frankenstein and took al lap with him.Then saw Salty in the lot.... Really good day for mid Dec...Weekend should be good...

About 5 minutes after I got there that car pulled in next to me...Damn if I didn't think the same thing...It turned out to be some first timers from NY..

Fun morning session at Blue Mountain...Brisk wind outa west...Saw some of the BFC in the lot other than that it was a pretty empty...Para was more on the sucky side of things..Again a cornucopia of conditions...Burma had good consistent conditions...Ended up just lapping Midway to LM....Conditions there were pretty fast..There were a few spots that had churned up granola type stuff...other than that it was really firm and pretty flat..Did not go down Chute(See pic)....Ended up doing a few runs with JL.... Rode from 9 to 11:30... They are making snow on TCS....It was above freezing and they had them fired up...Some looked OK...but the ones on Razors looked weak....But good for them for making an effort...Pretty sure I saw C1 a couple of times.....I think they will have things ironed out for the weekend...Should get some good production out of the guns...

@Barb I've read good things about mesh base layers but have yet to try any..

Super fun day on the skis..Again you had a mix bag of conditions on every open trail..Unfortunately I was not ready for the Katana like sharpening BC did on my edges...Whenever I got on to some early frozen cord/slick spots I was lookin like MC Hammer on crack..Crowds were pretty low but there are aways some kooks to keep you entertained... Big thanks to @enjoralas for all you do..

Conditions were just what I would expect on opening...Just going down Paradizzy you got like 5 different snow conditions....Wind was gusting pretty good and thought it was gonna be bad goin down but was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't..Super fun day with blue sky and it just feels right to be back in the lot again...

They were blowin on Midway and LM this am....So maybe you see that...Didn't really see much goin with TCS...
