Darn Tough are my go to backpacking/hiking socks...GoBros was having a 25% off sale so I picked up some hiking socks and I thought I would give these ski socks a try...

Good day to change the fluids/maintenance on the scooter....

I warmed up really quick and got pretty mushy....But it was nice to get about two and a half hours of skiing in....

Nice morning....I'm a pretty shitty skier so these vids suck....but I thought I would put them up anyway.....Enjoralas I tip my hat to you...That was some awesome food.....

I took lessons when I first started....I think it helped me avoid a lot of frustration......It's a really fun instrument.....

I don't know too many places where you can stop people from entering the parking lane...open a champagne bottle with a machete .... Mountain employee gives you extra garbage bags...and food that's on another level .....all PA in a ski resort...... It reminded me of the eighties...Bravo..

I would have liked to have stay longer but I had to meet my tax guy...plus I'm remodeling my basement and needed to get some stuff done.. Was cool meeting some of you guys but I really don't know who I met...I don't recall any names thrown around or maybe I just spaced on them.. I got a pair of never worn Burton pipe gloves if somebody wants them...size XL...Burton sent them to me by mistake.... Free to a good home..but give me a good reason why you need them...I"m gonna try to get up there tomorrow...

Was surprised how hard the snow was first thing....

You do not want Vail or any other corporation buy Blue......Everything will change... I was riding at BC/Doe Mountain ever since they opened it to snowboarding...Taught there for like 13 years.... Doe Mountain was a total shit hole by anybodies standards....but it was ours....You could pretty much do whatever you wanted to. Kinda what you guys have at Blue When Doe Mountain got sold,everything changed...Sure the snow was way better,but way more people...way more expensive...cameras everywhere...No more fun....It totally harshed our buzz... So....You do not want Blue to be sold....Just my two cents... .

I haven't been to Blue for a long time...It's really changed...Great conditions.....But sweet baby jesus does it always fill up that quick on a Saturday morning.....I was on the snow by 8:15...hour and a half later I was done...The line/wait was too much for me.....

I'm pretty tempted by this .....I've never really thought about a Blue pass since I can be at BC in less than five minutes....But the BC passes are starting to take their toll.....Would mean at least a 45 minute drive(one way)with zero traffic...and a roof rack for the MINI..ugh

That Patagonia site is the tits...I scored a light weight down puffy for $90...It looks brand new...Worked great on my Long Trail hike....

That's effing awesome..I always felt ice climbing was pretty bad ass....

I don't have to clean up leaves...my house is surrounded by conifers....no deciduous trees...

I taught snowboarding for 13 years...When I started snowboarding wasn't so popular and you only taught a couple of lesson a year...That made the getting the free pass great ..cause most of the time you just snowboarded...But as it got popular it kinda sorta started to become a job..The aha moments are great when you see someone get it...but when you get kids that are the devils spawn it's fucking harsh..plus all the clinics and other bullshit ...it sucks..or when its a pow day and you gotta teach..it's raining you gotta teach ..I said fuck it..all I want to do is ski/ride then leave..Don't do it..it's not worth it
