  1. +1 on the track days...Tons of cool motorsports stuff goes on at Laguna Seca(as I am sure you are aware of).. I always felt money spent on tavel was money well spent.
  2. Jeremy Jones has a great segment in a DVD titled "Lines"..It's about big mountain riding,no park stuff. One of my favorite DVDs to watch.
  3. This bag is a couple of years old.I used it on one trip,so it's like new(maybe a little dusty from sittin in the closet)...$50 takes it specs... 60L [25.5in x 14.5in x 14.75in] Custom Skate Wheel Assembly Volume-Enhancing CRAM Zones Shoe Storage Zippered Quick Stash Compartment for Travel Documents
  4. Isn't part of smartstyle to make sure the landing is clear?.....But it still does not make hanging out in the LZ right.
  5. I have a Custom 158 and liked it a lot(it was not the wide model)pretty much got me through everything.Never rode a 7
  6. Making better snow Learning to groom better Condition of the lower lot(trash, etc). The upper lodge reminds me of a ghetto bus terminal I am sure there are days when they do have nice snow and grooming, but the past couple of years that I have gone there the conditions were marginal..That being said there is some good there..vert,easy lift access from the lower lot, ticket scan.. It just doesn't seem like there putting a whole lot back into the mountain. There is a lot of potential at Blue, but it would not be my first choice as a local mountain. But thats just me.
  7. I guess hiking four hundred feet or so is a long way for some people. But back on topic,I really think Blue has bigger issues to deal with than putting a paddle tow at the pipe.
  8. Hiking it will only make you stronger.
  9. The thing with a lot of use is everybody(newbs/inexperienced pipe riders) likes to take the same line and then it gets rutted out. Half pipe doesn't have the draw it used to since parks have really taken off IMO.Is it really that hard to walk back up the pipe?
  10. Rather than fuck with the pipe,Blue should learn how to make better snow...then learn how to groom it better.
  11. Up for sale is my 2001 R6....Excellent condition...11,760 miles on the odometer...One owner bike with all service records...This bike has never been stunted,wheelied,dropped,etc....The only things that are not original to the bike are the front and rear turn signals(I think I still have them) and the plate holder....include is a Two Brothers rear wheel stand and a Joe Rocket textile jacket (XL) in Yamaha colors(in excellent condition)....The only reason I'm selling it is to finance a vintage car......$4,100 PM me for any info or pics. I also have a Teknic one peice leather track suit for sale..Never raced, worn a handful of times...A+ condition..size 44/54
  12. Soumy Vandal..I looked at some Arai's,but they didn't seem to fit as well as the Soumy did.
  13. Still the best mountain in Eastern PA.
  14. I'm gonna say Shawnee and Alpine Mountain. That Kelly air ruled back then...
  15. I love this place...Great terrian(5,000 plus acres w/moonlight).4,000 plus feet of vert..and never a lift line..
  16. See Ya!!!!
  17. I'll be in Montana on the 21st so I aint gonna be there.
  18. I really don't think they will blow any more snow..There is a lot more there than you think ..Sure the park won't be at it's mid winter best but it's still better than nothing...Today the paved area in the lower lot wasn't even full....I predict a March 22nd closing
  19. No hatin ......just sayin
  20. Your still payin $$ to ski/ride.
  21. I find mittens to be OK...Wear what ever keeps your hands warm.... It's a whole different game with the hard boots....insane speed and the abitlity to carve at insane speeds.you really don't have toe and heel drag with hard boots.
  22. Is it really "free"?
  23. Try Bomberonline.com or chrisklug.com.....
  24. Slow snow today...and foggy....it was kinda weird..sorta clear at the bottom, foggy mid way up,then clear at the top.
