The bar will be open to the public.

I was up today and it was soft but you could keep some good speed up.Lots of water run off.Good thing was it wasn't crowded so the snow didn't get too beat up.I really don't know how the park was cause I didn't ride over there. The snow is melting fast.
-
I'm going from 10 til 2.
-
I talked to Mark today and asked him about making snow last night. He said they were able to make snow at a few locations for only a couple of hours. Not very productive.(sigh)
-
I rode from late morning to early afternoon and didn't it was all bad.The snow was soft but not real mushy. There are some thin spots but thats to be expected with the weather we've been having.I like the bleacher set up.

Good day riding at BC.The snow was kinda sticky and slow late morning and in the afternoon, but it was still a great day.
-
The snow at BC was f'n awsome tonite, the bar was good too.

How do you propose to enforce said code?

I rode at Blue this morning and while they had good coverage, some of the conditions were marginal. The park was good but on some of the other trails it was sugar on the sides and ice patches in the middle, and this is in the morning. It looked like it wasn't even groomed.
-
The added covrage is nice.Great conditions all a round with just a couple of icy spots alomg the sides.
-
If the park is in need of work, shouldn't they "clock in" and do something about it?
-
They also have to fund the LTR program and the Chill program.I don't know of any other company that does so much for the sport. There is a lot to be said for checking your equipment before you ride.I've lost strap and highback nuts and bolts while out riding a couple of times.Do I blame Burton for that? No, I blame myself for not checking my bindings before going out.
-
Wouldn't this be a good time for them to get experience? It's not that crowded yet so I would think this would be a great time for on snow training for them. I saw a couple of them riding today, yet the park was in sad shape.
-
Overall riding conditiond were good, but the park in thelate morning/afternoon was beat.I never saw the park crew do anything about it.
-
I rode yesterday from 10am til noon.It wasn't all that bad.In some spots the snow was surprisingly good/others not so good.I was surprised how much coverage was left(I was last there on Sunday).Last night and today prolly put a hurtin in the coverage but there's snow in the forcast.I would head up,when it's this early I'll take anything.

Despite what you may have heard, you can have fun snowboarding without riding the park
-
Isn't it park crews job to take care of the ramp and landing areas?
-
They need to relocate the pipe.In the current location one side gets sun and the other doesn't,which really fucks it up.

I hear what your saying...but I've had zero problems with my Burton boots and bindings.I did have some problems with there boards in the early nineties but as of late they have all been good.I like to ride the whole mountain, not just one part of it and my custom does just fine.My other boards are Libs and I really do like them better than my Burtons. And before you say I don't ride a lot I'm out on the snow five to six days a week. I buy Burton cause I get a proform every year.Like you I'm a walking billboard for Burton.I don't have mad$$$$ so I must look for the best deals when I shop.I can't afford a new Lib every year but I can with Burton. I find the Burton soft goods(clothing) to be great products.A lot of the colors/patterns/design is not my style but the build quality is tops. Burton is the only company I know that puts so much into snowboarding. From product R&D,to team support,to rider support,to the LTR program, I can't think of any other company that does so much for the sport. I've heard other people say the same thing as you about Burton, but I've also hear people say they love there boards. The Burton name is a "status" symbol to some people for sure. But to say someone is a bad snowboarder cause they ride a certain board doesn't seem right. It doesn't matter what you ride as long as what you ride puts a smile on your face when your out on the snow. Did you ever think about talking to them about the problems you've been having with your stuff? I guess my relationship is on the love side right now.

I think families, hotel guests and first time/novice skiers and riders out number the park riders(people who go just for the park) at BC.They're not going to take a huge hit if they don't have the number one park.I think they have a great park and I know a lot of other people feel that way.Does BB have the lodge facilities that BC has?Does BB have a hotel that can compete with BC? .BC is more than a park and to say they don't have the smarts is just stupid. You have to try to make everyone have a great time at your mountain and I think BC does a pretty good job of that.

I know there are instructor positions open.

Screw the rail jam, let's concentrate on getting the mountain open. It's there fault if they don't call/check the web page.
