Pretty spicy morning at Blue....Best snow on Burma says it all.. Snowing pretty good in Macungie now.Winds have been picking up...Prolly bust out the XC skis later.. Plow jockeys chompin at the bit...

Spent the whole time on TCS ...and it was good..

Snow was harder than a diamond this morning....The grooming made it extra spicy too...uneven and some small bomb holes....Started to soften up after an hour or so....But still some sketch spots....Super nice seeing the sky this morning..... TCS still seems to have a good depth....They must have had a really deep base on it to last this long...

You would get a lot of nimby action.....They want it ..but not too close....

Snow conditions were great today..Visibility was not so great today... but it sure kept the crowds down...Some brown on upper Para and around the turn on Lazy...Fog seemed to really set in as the day went on..Did a bunch of laps on TCS...Then did the tour de Blue and hit Paradise/Lazy/Midway Lower Main twice then Burma...all from the quad...Nice morning on the snow at Blue Mountain...

Vista/Midway/Lower Main was good...The rest was meh... TCS was slickety slick....Lazy was a big rumble strip...Although to be fair Paradise wasn't bad until you got past the TCS intersection...and somehow caught a somewhat empty run down Burma(with a couple of patrol at corners)....Big crowds with BMR and kooks ....Still better than sittin at home watchin cartoons with a bowl of Fruity Pebbles....

Late night on the keyboard and next thing ya know these are at my door....Fritschi Tecton 12 Gonna put them on some Lib Tech Wunderstick 100s...... Question to the touring peeps...Do hybrid bindings get mounted in the marked sweet spot? Next..Should I trust trust Blue to mount these correctly? Could only get them with 110 brakes so I hope they can tweek them in a little.... I really have no legit reason to own these ......

Wanted to make it up there this morning but had to take advantage of the warm weather to put new rear axels/bearings/seals in the Jeep..

This is so fucking true....I was one of the first SB instructors at Doe Mt...We basically got a season pass for wearing a jacket and screwin off..You taught like three or four lessons all year cause nobody snowboarded in the early 90's...Then the muther effin X games came along and it was a swift kick in the bean bag...Every kid wanted to snowboard..You would be havin fun dickin around ..then get call for a lesson with somebodies crotch goblin and you'd be like FUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!

I asked them to check my pass to make sure it was gonna work...said I didn't want to be that guy on opening day..They told me I was good to go...#fingerscrossed....
