Everybody knew what conditions were going to be like.....If you can be one of the first people on the trail...the groomed sugar can be down right fun....Still kinda firm from the grooming...You could lay down some good trenches ......Did two good laps on NM/DW....Hopped over to TCS...Pretty firm snow there...Back over to NM/DW and it was beat..Mostly lapped TCS...Lower Paradise was shit except if you stuck to skiers R by the trees there was a sorta kinda smooth path....Hopefully they can blow most of this week with the temps...This shit has just got to be buried and morph into base material..

Conditions deteriorated pretty quick today...Mostly lapped TCS .....I think today was the busiest so far...When I was leaving they were parking people across the street....Conditions sucked but still better than not skiing/riding....

I saw they installed a new sign with the new logo at the top lodge entrance..

I had the exact same plan and disappointment....

I'm at work about a mile N of Blue...Snowing at a good rate..

Classic East Coast....Good stuff...

Conditions tonight were pretty meh...Semi frozen cut up slush with some sugar sprinkled on top...Got there around six and saw a shit ton of lessons/groups in the courtyard...Mainly just skied Timberline as it remained somewhat uncrowded with the previously mentioned folks...Skied for about an hour and a half....Good time tonight...It's the perfect set up for me..... @Johnny Law..This is where that super cool snack shack used to be...One of the old trails still runs behind it....

Someone said "Greed is good".....People will bitch and cry .....but they always pay....

Up there again tonight..Conditions were of the snow cone variety....Fast and pretty smooth....Some minor bumps on Sassy and it's still full width...The trail going around the back is really thin...Riding across semi clear ice/slush....The bottom of Timberline is starting to get thin also..Windy and a bit chilly....Snowed a little too......Place was ghosted ....and the snow was fine....Nice way to spend two hours after work....

First run down TCS was good...and the right side of Lower Paradise provided some nice surfy turns...Upper Main wasn't too bad..and an early trip down Lazy had some nice turns...NM/DW was meh...Tough to get any kinda flow...

Another night session in the books...Conditions took you from zero to hero in one run.....But conditions shouldn't be like this in January...Got two NASTSAR runs in....Lift lines started to get painful around seven ....Fun night again...after many years of not riding at night it feels good to be out at night again....

Was up there this evening for an hour or so....Snow was the kind that lets you do pretty much whatever you want...Coverage was OK ...but they still gotta be worried about the temps...Don't want Mr Sunshine coming around anytime soon....But a fun night there and not really crowded...

Conditions were indeed better but still kinda meh....but so far mother nature isn't playing nice this year....Raceway/Midway/Lower Main was OK...and surfing the sugar piles on Lower Paradise was a hoot...New lift is nice but as was said it dumps a lot of people on Main and Shuttle can get crowded with everybody having to go to the valley.....and every weekend there seems to be a new race group doing training somewhere..but despite everything it's tough to beat a not to cold sunny morning on the snow....

Even if it cost some extra cash they should clean under the lifts regularly....At least it makes it look like you care..All the cans/bottles can go to recycling...All the gloves/hats/apparel..should be donated to the homeless....

I get free nastar for the month of Jan. with my pass..Really hope they can get going again...It was sooo nice getting home..change..throw all the stuff in the car...and be at BC in the span of 15 min..

Was up there for some laps after work....It's pretty bad...You really had to pick your way through some stuff...The pics don't do it justice...I'm surprised they were even open...No steeper terrain open...Mostly park stuff....I have a lot of good memories from there..

Got an early night session in today..Snow was surprisingly good...There's just not a lot of it...All the steeper stuff there skied OK....but had to be aware of thin spots...Felt like a spring night....They must have had a busy day cause the lower and part of the mid lot were pretty full when I arrived at 5:30....Lift line was about 5-8 min....Can't remember the last time I skied at night....Haven't been there in like five years...Good to ski there again....

Super soft snow made it a little rough in some spots later.......Rain held off which was nice.....The fog was a bitch though...shit appears out of nowhere...Fun morning at Blue...and got to meet @Jimkoval....It's really raining in Macungie now..........

I ran Razors twice....First thing and then maybe an hour later....It was pretty bad..Full on Chips Ahoy...But at least a consistent size cookie...I thought everything else was pretty good .....Some park stuff in...The lower sides of the last jump almost caught me out..Really steep down side....Still enjoying Midway/Chute/Lower Main...Conservative side of TCS was fun.....Good time on the snow this morning...

Today was an all around good time...Lapped Midway to Lower Main a few times..Still staying relatively uncrowded...Lazy to Falls was somebody is always in my way kinda trail...TCS was a little slick....Can't complain though.. with the milder temps it was a beautiful morning to be on the snow....

Fun day despite the cold..Lapped Midway/Chute/Lower Main most of the morning....With the lift not spinning yet it keeps the crowd off it...Overall nice conditions....12 degrees when I pull out of the lot...

This cold can't be good for the lifts...

Fast right handers on to Shuttle are money ...
