The only real disadvantage you have to the quads closing is that you cant get to Nile Mile,Cliffhanger, and Pharaoh without doing some type of hiking. Otherwise the slow lifts get the job done (as long as its a weekday because we all know what weekends bring).

The winds recently have been blowing a good amount of snow off some of the trails, which has been exposing the hardpack in some areas and a bit of ice here and there but mainly on traversing areas. I've been up there this past weekend, monday, and weds. The best day there by far was monday because the winds were minimal. Of course, watching people pizza wedge it down the faces of the diamonds doesn't help the cause either.

I was there today, conditions were pretty good. Only encountered two trails that were icy, hump and rocket. Cliffhanger was actually a pretty good ride also.

I'll likely be there. Isn't this system coming through tonight/tomorrow supposed to bring rain up there as well though?

I agree, I think it is a huge stretch that they are able to open by Saturday.

Ideally, you need both an air compressor and a pressure washer I believe. I could be wrong though.

well theres snow here now and more on the way this week for christmas...i guess i washed my truck enough times in the past 2 months, though it has about 5 pounds of salt on it right now
