  1. Edit-fat fingered double post. Nothing more to see here.
  2. On pins and needles waiting for skitoolives TR’s about New England powder and low crowds.
  3. All the money Vail has, and they cant figure out how to filter water? This is a viable reason though, its not normal for JF to be so far ahead of BB in trail count.
  4. you cant see it, but i have my surprised face on. And i'm kidding when i say that. Big Boulder has 1/2 of the trails open as of today. That is probably indicative of Vails commitment to the 5 PA resorts.
  5. Do the people that bring sleds to Blue just think they are going to be welcomed with open arms and escorted to an area for them to use it?
  6. not nearly as crowded as projected.
  7. What some may say is odd, we call this normal for Blue Mountain. Wait......is that Santa???? So, conditions were maybe not quite as good as days past, the days of Main Street being a carpet ride are gone for a while i think, but overall not a bad day to be out. Upper Main skied well, but lower was a bit lumpy. Biggest issue today was the low vis at the top. Snow on NMDW was really pretty good, but narrow, made the second turn kind of interesting. FYI, ski from the lift to Razors, then hang a right to get on NM. The area in between Paradise and NM isnt quite ready for skiing. Midway was pretty nice, couldnt see shit on Come Around, and Lazy was nice if you took the turn wide. I didnt ski Paradise, but was told i wasnt missing anything. I didnt see what Indiggio's bumps looked like, and most likely, neither did anyone else. Expect major stupidity on the trails tomorrow.
  8. Blue will be a zoo tomorrow by early afternoon. Conditions at JF will probably hold up a little better if you are really thinking you will spend the entire day skiing. You could go to Big Boulder after 4 pm on the same lift ticket, but you cant take the rental gear with you, so you will have to get new rentals again. Big Boulder is a little more park oriented though. they probably have 2 slopes open with no features on it. Any place you go tomorrow will be more crowded than normal. Make sure you ask for the extra comfortable rental boots.
  9. Facebook comments should be interesting.
  10. Main street was on point, again. Weather was really nice. toast in a onesy is just.....umm.....different.
  11. i work with a bunch of idiots. Still hoping to make tomorrow, but i work with a bunch of idiots.
  12. To me that just says Challenge will be open before they close on 12/24. But still, excited for its opening. Means they are making progress.
  13. Impressive to see them blowing. its warm AF in Malvern. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, i am planning on being there tomorrow morning.
  14. There might be some video........
  15. thanks to my somewhat secret Santa, Toast for the wonderful beverage that i could barely get unwrapped. His Christmas gift to everyone else was his karaoke jam of some strange Christmas song, which he was able to really get after. Awesome day today, good crew, good snow, good lot eats.......There should be many more days like today.
  16. I cant wait to see my gift. I hope you were paying attention when i was dropping all those hints about what i wanted.
  17. really nice conditions today.
  18. Nice!
  19. Seriously, Paradise is a long trail. Really should consider changing things around and making it Upper Paradise, and Lower Paradise.
  20. I can see Paradise is getting the treatment, but whats Challenge look like? too hard to tell from the webcams i had access to this morning.
  21. Sat and Sun. FYI - the Ridgeracer TrueBlue grand opening is Saturday. They have buy one get one half off on hats, gloves, goggles, and pants. (no cocoa though) Might want to tell @mute1080 and @ryan
  22. We did not get any appreciable snow in MALVERN.
  23. Really bad accident on 80. Like 20 tractor trailers and cars. Serious shit. NE extension messed up too.
  24. Fantastic! We will once again be reunited with the Valley lot on Friday, and by this weekend they should have about double the terrain that JFBB has to offer. Splitting hot cocoa's and high fives are on tap for this weekend at Blue.
