The largest parcel, and the area with the slopes on the right middle is "Elk Mountain Ski Center" There are 3 other large parcels bordering that belonging to "moores motor inc", from gladwyne, and if im not mistaken, thats the family that owns it? or am i dreaming that one up? Also another parcel owned by Elk Herrick Properties from Gladwyne as well. So, if all of that property is "Elk", then yes. lots of land. GIS is fun. Still all 100% lift ride rumors.

Remember in 2020 when the rumor was Kalahari bought them? It would actually make some sense to turn it into a Kalahari type place. i mean, theres a ton of vacant land around it, but who knows if it is usable, or owned by those miserable people near the base.

I think i went to jf twice on my epic pass, like when blue didnt open for rain, or they closed for the season. I definitely was not scanned once.

i feel like Ski resorts being sold is like the worst kept secret ever, so if it was true, we would know more. Personally i think its just a rumor. Did you guys hear that Blue Mt was going to expand the paid parking to include a free car wash?

And it sort of looks as though we can do the payment plan as well, i didnt see where doing the payment plan would retract the GC.

That isnt a horrible trade off, at least for me. every bit of insurance i have, Taxes, season passes, septic pump outs, etc come due in March. I spend money in March like its going out of style.

I have no idea who this guy is, but he isnt the first i have heard of thursday and friday nights snow. Take it with a pretty low probability though.

I chatted with a few people that said 309 was a problem. I didnt have problems until the sheetz on 145, cars sliding and couldnt get going at the light. Then i got behind a box truck that shouldnt have been out on the roads. Then behind a line of cars, and for some reason we had to stop on a hill to watch some guy make love to the embankment in the other lane, kinda did a dicey pass there to get around those. No traffic for me going up blue mt drive. oh, and i learned the demo day thing was buckmans employees only.

I would say their claims of a foot are valid, based on what i walked through to get to the quad.
