"insider" info? Really? Big deal. What you dont know is, i was there Saturday as well, checking the place out.
-
That makes perfect sense. They will probably be paying employees with giftcards too.

Interestingly enough, tubing is closed tomorrow. and i saw that a week ago or whatever. I guess tubing with sleet/ice is dangerous. Management being proactive, i guess because they dont have tubing patrolers? And yeah, its pretty obvious SP3000 takes full advantage of skiing empty trails until 8 am, then starts checking the slopes.

The people complaining at JH arent the ones bringing the money into the resort, town, etc....nor do they make the decisions for the resort, i am pretty sure. That being said, JH did have parking issues on some of their busiest days, so they will have that to consider when it comes time to re-up on the Ikon pass. PS. i dont know this first hand, but probably the best place to poop at JH is The Four Seasons. -
10,802'. for comparison, the full lazy from the quad is 8,144'.

I am fortunate that 99% of my poops take place before 7 am. Its a rarity that i have to poop anytime after early am, if i do, i am probably sick. I have 0 poops at any ski resort, and only one airport poop to my name. If you do have to poop on the road, a lowes or Home depot usually have nice clean bathrooms in the am. -
I think we have determined by the numbers that Blue is actually a dangerous place to ski. We do pretty much accept this risk by skiing there. I am sure Blue pretty much knows this as well, but it seems odd to me that they continue to be reactive, rather than proactive. What does ski patrol actually do when they are on the mountain before 8 am?

That hurt me when i saw you do that.

Anybody think its actually gonna snow Wednesday? Place your bets. I will go with 2” sneet before rain.
-
Its not snowing here.

Good parking lot as always.
-
Conditions in the lot were good. FYI, Doug, Ryan, Mute Maybe Ryan and Mute can share a pair, and we can burn the old ones in the lot. i will bring gas.

locals should be more pissed at JHMR, than the average IKON passholder. I hate when ski joints try to make money and stuff.

Maybe tomorrow, weather depending. Sat and sun.
-
Same. I didnt drink tons, but i pretty much ate everything i could get my hands on.

I like mine with lettuce and tomato. Heinz 57 and french fried potatoes. I really started to get overdosed on french fries on that trip.

As pretty much did i the first time, this year i had a better idea of the early AM route off of the gondi. I like the root, first thing in the AM its sweet whether its pow or groomed. I skied some new stuff there which i thought was real nice, Washakie glades, and saratoga bowl. I really liked the Bird in Hand - Table rock run we did. the choke at the bottom was pretty challenging.
-
All of them open at 9, unless of course they get delayed for bombs. Personally i think the tram is overrated, and the gondi is the way to go. you can actually get a ride up to solitude station before 9, but it really doesnt get you anything stellar except maybe a cocoa you could split with Mute. I have been looking at the cams for a week or so now, and thats the biggest line up i have seen. I would say the lineup for the tram started before 7.

A bunch more pizzas and cocoas? lets be realistic here. Unless your definition of "a bunch" can be counted on one hand.

you will be fine. Besides, the travel god is with you.

Is it just murder for you trying to make a large purchase like a car or home?
