  1. You do weird math.
  2. On Tuesday Main, Lazy and Paradise all had some lollipops out. like you said.....could start to get interesting. Sad face.
  3. The people that dont like to put the bar down have probably never experienced an e-stop on that lift. One thing that lift can do is stop on a dime. This is just a real tragic accident.
  4. Where did this come from? This person is just angry, and uninformed.
  5. Groundhog day #???? I can come out to play as long as its not raining. Or misting. So if its moist out, i might not come. I can leave the epicness to others.
  6. Like Toast said, figure out where u wanna go, and people will be able to help you alot more. Figure out if your airline of choice flys to Jackson. some dont. you really cant make a mistake with CO, Utah or Jackson. But i will give you this quick rundown. Utah - 13 resorts within like 45 mins of the airport. You dont have to get a car, and you could stay at a resort but the cost of staying at a resort will likely be more than if you were to rent a car, and stay in a more centrally located hotel in town. Stay in a hotel, with your rental hoptie, and go to whatever resort has the best conditions. Rent a 4wd car/truck/tank. Get your lift tix that morning at the ski shop. Colorado - lift tix are prob still more expensive than Utah, and you will do some driving there. However, we know some super cool person that is always willing to help out a PASR, and Crested Butte looks cool as crap. Very quick flight to Denver, if you dont fly frontier. Jackson Hole - I have no experience with this, but i am told it is an easy place to ski without renting a car. The Kardashians lent us their Suburban last year.
  7. A few of my facebook weather outlets are looking at thurs/fri now as possible snow. It could also monsoon on us again. As a realist, i tend not to hope for things that wont happen to come true. I hope it snows. We need something good to come our way here. Maybe it means the forecast will trend colder overall sooner, so they can get back to work on Razors.
  8. Its was groundhog day once again at Blue Mountain. Lazy and Paradise went to shit pretty early. Main street held together the best, lower main typical. Homestretch was spicy, but im sure it was nothing for Skitoolives kids. The 6 needed some repairs early on, the quad looked like it was gonna be grumpy as well, but it turns out they just forgot to turn the lights on. Every lift ride was good for me. Parking lot was spot on. Nice work by Enjorales.
  9. Way firmer this morning than anyone could have imagined, which was odd. Good skiing on Main street. both lazy and paradise had interesting spots. i took the time to look back at last year.......11 degrees for first chair on 12/29/17. 100% open 12/30/17. Good god we need some real snowmaking temps.
  10. im going out to the shed to build you a ski rack. should be baller. oh, and now they are closing at 4pm.
  11. i figured they would get hammered on facebook if they closed today. Cameras look like they are closed though...lol

  14. Ok.
  15. Back at it on Thursday morning.
  16. so thats where Invisbleshart got off to.
  17. Thats nice doug, at least you are having a good time.
  18. Good ski day. Main street held up pretty well, crowds we low. No annoying ass raceteam assholes. Off to rub my meat.
  19. I called. The nice woman on the phone said 8:30. So, really its a total crapshoot.
  20. i called, just basically to harass them a little. they said 8:30. Tubing opens at 8 though, in case anyone is interested.
  21. 22. I think the ROTD was main street. That just means it was just a little bit better than anything else condition wise. Lower lot rocks, no matter how (bad) conditions are, the lot is always on point . so glad to be back down there. We really need some good snowmaking temps soon. The race team BS is out of control. Have we figured out what time opening is tomorrow?
  23. Sunday and Monday for me. First trip to the lower lot!
