Boulder will be open next weekend. They cant quite claim last to close if they close the same day as Blue and Cameltoe. All the slopes that have snow on them will be open. Take your park skis.

Razors was like skiing on rumble strips. Like vibrated your feet. Runs after that were a little better. Main was the best, and thats not saying too much. Firm frozen conditions today.

Things my parents did back then as parents would just be off the charts unacceptable by today's standards. They let me play on the roof. And, Actually, the only thing the cops cared about was that i lived there. I was probably coming home to an empty house after school sometime like 4th or 5th grade. I was allowed to ride my bike pretty much where ever my legs could take me. I never wore a seatbelt. They were uncomfortable and un-necessary. My parents didnt know where i was all the time, and it wasnt a big deal. i always made my way home at some point for dinner, and they were never concerned that i might be shooting up a school. The house was unlocked 95% of the time. We never locked the cars.

Looks like the chances for snow are slowly starting to go away. Whatever. if its gonna be cold, snow. if it aint gonna snow, 45 and sunny for the last weekend would be wonderful.

I used to lay on the shelf below the rear window of my dads Chevelle, going to Dairy Queen for ice cream. Why? just cause i could. My parents also brought me home from the hospital in a laundry basket. Yeah, times have changed.

Nashville is cool. Theres a shitload of live music, not karaoke, no DJ's, no library bands....etc. I went to the Wildhorse Saloon, i thought that was a pretty cool place, but im sure its not the only one. It may have been the biggest bar i've ever been in though. Take the HeeHawlin taxi service. Pretty neat riding around town in a chauffeured golf cart. Tons of good BBQ too.

I get that, i do. But i do also see how hard it would be to open your doors at the end of the season, when ticket sales are already going down, just to make "people happy". Keep in mind, we all just bought a pass for the least amount of money ever. And there is no way your cheap ass would open anything if you werent going to make a buck.

Nah. They announced the 8th would be the last day, pond skim is scheduled, they have little incentive to open that weekend. There is no guarantee that they will sell enough tickets to make it worthwhile. We had this converstation this weekend....they need to learn how to extract money from season passholders on these late season weekends. Like a grill outside selling burgers, dogs, beer......maybe by scantily clad women.......whatever works. We should probably just be lucky our season was as long as it was. Businesses need to make money. I support Businesses being able to make money. I have to make decisions like this to basically not work when the weather sucks, so i get to piss people off just as much, but businesses need to make money to stay open.

Tomorrow will be way better. This morning was the second time this season i took off a friday to go skiing after 2 days of rain. Pretty much the same conditions both times, which i really thought would be better. Some soft snow, some soft snow with ice chunks mixed in, some ice patches, and some straight up water logged snow, and yeah, some bare spots. If they groomed last night, or this morning conditions would have been significantly better, but i think they groomed tuesday(?) night after the rain. Eaf should stay far away from Challange, that might be interesting tomorrow, and probably off limits next weekend. So much snow on Razors and NMDW.
