    Skied from 8:30 to about 10:30. Upper main was on point early, lower main, same old interesting surface. Nightmare was awesome, dreamweaver is just fucked. Mow that shit down. I went there knowing sort of what to expect, but the light was so flat i had to realy slow to check to see what stupid suprise was awaiting me next. Challange is to narrow for bumps. So pretty much echo what jeff said in last nights TR. looks like they blew on sidewinder last night a little so that was pretty firm with marbles. The snow was really nice right around the base of the 6.

    That pretty much fits into our current weather pattern of snow, rain, and then stupid cold. Rinse and repeat. Sunday looks monsoon-ish.

    These would be my thoughts as well. Soul Riders for daily driver, and look at something a little wider. And kind of what Doug touched on - maybe something like 50/50 powder and after powder ski.

    Realistic eta is 11 am. If it was gonna be all snow its a No-brainer.

    Its not out of the question, but it seems less likely with words like sleet, freezing rain, and rain being thrown around alot. By me not going, ensures it stays all snow. If i go, it will be raining as i pull in the lot.

    I’ve been looking at this. I would be more inclined to cancel my Dr’s appointment if it was going to fall overnight. Driving up afterwards isnt out of the question though. Something possible precip for Sat as well. Buckle up.

    And dont worry about getting there first thing either. So stressful. Everything will be just as good at noon. First chair is for suckers. Demo some really narrow skis, and for god sakes leave that powder off trail for others. Dont want that stuff in your face.

    Forecast looks decent https://opensnow.com/dailysnow/colorado Fyi - take notice of what times what lift opens. Some lifts have later openings, at least the last time i was there. Its kind of odd, but you can jump on the gondy, get off and ski to a lift that doesnt open for another 20 mins. Post pics. I really like that place.

    Gonna check out the "rocketed skis". i thought they were only in the movie "ski patrol:. Those trees look delish. Should have been merderin the perder in there.

    Interestingly enough, there was a late season snow years ago. JFBB was closed, so i went to Camelback. i left lots of fluffy snow in Albrightsville (1800 ft) to find heavy wet sierra cement at Camelback. So, the moral of the story is, Camelback can even fuck up the weather.

    Do they get coverage from snowmaking? if not, i would say trees anywhere in PA might be a little thin.
