Very nice morning. Cold, but the by product of that is tons of good snowmaking. Razors was decent, for just being opened, i think toast, shadows and myself may have made first civilian tracks on it. Main street was $$$$. (money). Sidewinder was perfect first thing. Took the Blue tour, so i think we hit all trails. Lazy had lots of new man made, but all the guns were cranking so it made it a little rough on the face. Sun was shining when we were in the lot, need more days like this.

It will definitely be empty at JF Thursday night.

I thought conditions were pretty nice today, plus got to take a ride in MBikes truck. There were some lift issues, but with the ride up to the top, it didnt really do our day in by any stretch. I didnt wish at all once today that i was skiing at camelback. have a nice evening.

The Beltsville buoy popped for next week. Friday/Saturday.

Usually late Feb is when they start selling passes discounted. Last year they said there were a limited number, but it went on for days if not weeks. Buying a pass then will grant you access to skiing the balance of 2018 and the 2018/2019 season. Buying a pass now will get you the balance of this season.

Ride the lift up to the fucking top of the mountain. Take the fucking water slide down to Uncle Bills, then hop on the fucking mountain coaster, and be prepared to jump off at Sullivan Trail. This is the Circus that you signed up for. Oh, by the way, both the water slide and mountain coaster are double blacks, so you are good to go. Dont forget to turn on your go pro.

I used to do pre-season tunes at Buckmans when they would have my skis for at least 2 weeks. Then a disappointing tune at Alpina. Every experience i have had at the Blue ski shop has been good. Mounted bindings for me in half an hour like 2 weeks ago, but that was when the valley was closed. Lots of people in there last weekend picking up and dropping off. Seems like they are doing a fair amount of tunes.

When you draw a circles on a map of PA were ski joints can survive weather-wise, they are right on the edge of the one circle. so close to just not making it work.

I have a pair of 2014 Shredditor 102, camber, rocker, full twin. i dont carry them with, so if thats something thats of interest, let me know. Should be able to adjust bindings back to get you in. I have two freakishly different sized feet, and jamming the big foot into a smaller boot works better than the other way around. i have the Nordica Enforcer 100, too, but its not a full twin.

I'm a huge fan of Dollar General. When i split a brake line and needed brake fluid, the Dollar General had it, where as the gas station i was fixing my car at did not. I stop at the one just outside my development each time i go to the Poconos. Prices are good, they carry name brand stuff as well as their own cheapy brand. They carry the Kettle chips we all have grown to love on the weekends. They are making a killing. I find other dollar stores to be completely disgusting.

GFS fantasy stuff for Christmas. Maybe a Christmas miracle. This would be better than the equivalent of rain, even if everybody is closed on Christmas day. Whether or not this happens, at least it shows signs of going back to really cold temps.

My eye site isnt what it could be, and i read food isnt run by Blue. Is the food at the Valley now run by Blue? If so, then the high dollar roach coach makes sense. If the food is run by someone else, then the whole "no outside food thing" from last year makes alot more sense.

Im out of touch with the food and beverage at Blue since we have our own personal chef. i didnt know that about the food at the Valley. I wonder how the "other outfit" feels about the fancy roach coach.
