1-3" is better than 50 and sunny. At least we are talking about snow.

Wunderground has individual weather stations from weather nerds on a map. Same with weatherbug.

About 28 degrees at Blue right now. Not crazy cold like we would like, but its not going to get as warm today.

Whoa. Take it easy there. I do. All except for shopping, i really like Christmas. I have a lot of time off at Christmas.

Lots of people are thinking thats coming more west. Big time snow? no. maybe have some snurries at Blue on Sunday? yes. Make my house look pretty at night with the Christmas lights on and some snow on the ground? yes.

Yup. then i saw them in the upper lot when i went back up. Totally tubers. From NJ. Bet they were dissapointed. Good news is, they werent that far from Camelback.

They gotta get tubing open for the truly talentless in life. I saw alot of people driving in last sunday that were "dressed for tubing" if you know what i mean.

Dammit.....thats exactly what i was going to get you for Christmas. Oh well. Taylor swift CD it is then.

Yeah, but the best it can be is Love Park. Again, can only do that so many times. The parking lot apres ski at Blue is always a good time. Underpromise, Overdeliver. They dont want to go around looking like Camelback, so yeah, i wouldnt rule out some other stuff opening. Need to put snowmaking on the "max power" level here shortly.

They actually mowed them down like saturday or sunday at somepoint. When i was down at the Valley on Sunday and the guns were off, it wasnt quite as an impressive collection of snow as i had thought. But, every little bit helps. 24-30 hrs more for the good stuff.

Looking at what Blue has to offer in the retail, if you want to demo something with Mantra like characteristics, try the nordica enforcer 93. I dont think Blue carries volkl skis. Blizzard Bonafide is really similar to the mantra as well, again, not carried by Blue.

Its going to be really hard to top that day at Blue Mountain. Maybe this year.

The automated system can only make snow. it cant make the weather. Its not possible. What ever they were making this morning was really dank anyways. no, thats not the word i was looking for there....dank describes something else.

See what happens with it. If i sent my skis for a grind/edge/wax, and they told me $60, or grind/edge/3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane, and that would keep my shit waxed all season, for $100 i would be all in. I dont terribly mind waxing my skis, but i could definitely find something else to do with my ski wax time.

Looks like Disneyland. One reason i dislike the place. I dont know the layout of Camelback too well, but wasnt that the intergalactic tubing slope they were grooming all the fresh powder on?
