Treatment? you mean snowmaking? i do believe they are/is/was blowing on another trail. if you look at the one camera, and point it at "the plaza", there is snow there. i believe that camera is pretty far from Freedom to be showing snow there, so i do believe they were making snow on either little boulder, or tannenbaum. Maybe with another night, they have another trail tomorrow. They normally only open freedom for "boulder gives back", whether thats by design or not, like since most people are there giving out 15 cans of food found in moms pantry, they only spin one lift? Make money on day 2 with 2 slopes.

As a side note, i have read from 3 different outlets about strong storm signals for the Thanksgiving time frame. Will it come true? who knows, just buckle up, sit tight, and lets see how it plays out. If it does happen to snow around Thanksgiving, Camelbacks tubing will be baller.

Thats kind of a confusing post they put up. Saying they like the snowmaking temps they see around the 19th. They are making snow, but i guess its on the tubing hill. Kudos to them for concentrating on tubing. i wish i had a season pass there. (sarcastic font, btw)

It was actually warmer at 5 am than it is now. It looks really windy out too, just looking out my window. I'm procrastinating big time, need to go outside.

So, who is gonna make snow tomorrow? I think about 4-5 pm tomorrow, someplace in the Poconos could be making snow. I think its either going to be 0 or 3. like, all of them are just waiting for the others to make a move. The lights were on at Blue last night for some reason.

True. That would be POC. But the real question is how much they will have open.

I like your enthusiasm, and i dont entirely disagree, but i dont like to set myself up for disappointment on a long shot. I'm just not sure if they would do it with marginal temps next week. But.....they probably will have their hand close by on the start button, just in case someone like Camelback decides its time to make white stuff. that would certainly force their hand. that whole first to open thing......

Blue will start making snow right around Thanksgiving. BB will have a slice of white open right after Thanksgiving. JF will start making snow last couple days of November. Camelback will announce they will open Monday, with a hike park on the tubing slope, but blow a pipe in the process, just basically making a huge winter time water park, and again be ridiculed on social media. Bear will start making snow on December 15th after importing cold water from Canada to enhance snowmaking even further with last years purchase of "Mr Chilly", the water cooler. Spring Mt will have the haul cables back up on the lifts by December 20th. Montage will start making snow December 12th, after a constant barrage of social media saying "what the fuck are you guys waiting for"? Elk will eventually make snow after they are done planting more trees. This will come as a huge surprise to everyone as to when they make snow, since the fourth grader that designed their website forgot the password and cant update anything there, and still is not old enough to use facebook. SallyCat will not end up skiing with any knuckledragging, narrowmidnded, fuckfaces from PASR.

i think its kinda snowing in the Poconos.

Lots of the precip on the radar is not hitting the ground. it is snowing pretty good out in johnstown/altoona. i look at these cameras all the time.
