Had some visitors a week or so ago too. Last time i was up, i was missing one downspout, and an extension piece in the back that was pulled apart, the one end was ripped open. i think they are after a snack, which would be the chipmunks that like to run into the downspouts. Notice mom looks both ways before crossing the street. Bears seem to be a little more prevalent this year, but since our trash goes to a compactor, there isnt much trash for them to make yard art out of. Bears.MOV

so, following the instructions set forth on the Monroe County Tax Assessors page, i come up with $5400 in taxes a year. Pretty big piece of property for taxes that low, but i guess most of the land is really "undeveloped". There is of course, the chance the property gets reassessed after the purchase, thats common in Carbon County. That property was a steal, even if they do nothing with it.

Thats fucking awesome. The lodge looks to be in decent shape. And it comes with all those awesome skis???? Who wouldnt like a full size bar in their house? I would turn the lodge into a house, with like a 10 car garage. 2 questions. Did they assume any debt with it, and what are the taxes on the property. Maybe GSS could use his unlimited data to find out.

Interesting reading. I had no idea mountain creek is/was the old Action park of years ago. I read something about action park last year about it being the most fun, almost dangerous water park thing in the country. I think it was nicknamed "traction park" or something.

Yup. Upper Dumper is kinda mixed. There are some nice areas especially closer to Haverclown. There is also the much less popular but much more dangerous Stillbourne (Millbourne) right on its Border. Darby itself is a shithole. Sad to say, i actually live around quite a few shitholes.

lol....no. I tried to make friends with her when she first started, and i figured out pretty quick we were not going to be BFF's. I really dont know what she does, but shes needs to just close her office door in the morning and only open it when its time for her to leave. all she does is pretty much piss people off. She kind of has a habit of trying to get other people to do shit for her. She's terrified of my boss. Which i find humorous, but at the same time kinda messed up. She's not allowed to answer the phone. She's so stupid she cant even do that. She has no idea who does what here. She's not allowed out back in the shop since she pissed all those guys off. They call her Eva Braun.

Every receipt gets matched up with an invoice. We have alot of company credit cards here, making alot of purchases. So everything gets checked in case of CC theft, or mistaken "personal use". It gives our unlikeable accountant girl something to do. She doesnt like it when receipts are turned in late. Mine will always be late.

Wawa should reward you with some type of tasty treat when you arent rewarded with a receipt at the pump. That annoys the fuck out of me. 99% of the time the only reason i am at Wawa is to get gas. pay at the pump and roll. Not pay at the pump, then go stand in line at lunchtime with 10 other people when the person at the register is going "no, i said Kool 100's lights....the pink boxed one". then proceeds to pay with change. I absolutely leave my truck parked at the pump will i go inside for my receipt. i would take up 2 spaces, and fill the flower planter with gasoline if i knew it wasnt going to spit out a receipt.

A nice instructional video would be nice...... dont line up across the top of the falls. there is no stop sign there. stopping around the turns on NM/DW, Paradise, etc is not advised. 30 bypass is bad. And its kind of a shame, there are some really nice rural areas out that way, but the bypass just blows.

Dont live in Chester. Nobody in their right mind lives in Chester. I know you were not going to, but i had to say it. Lansdale does seem to be the middle ground. Like TP4 said, getting from Lansdale to Chester by 7:30 wont be that bad. Leaving at 5 pm will. Generally leaving from Delco to the Poconos, i need to leave by 4, or just suck it up and wait until 6. so, that would apply to you too. The one thing you have going for you is at some point, construction of the 3 lanes to lansdale on 476 will be done. Unfortunately the blue route will still suck. Any where you really go like 50 miles of Philly is affected with some type of horrible traffic. Glad to hear you didnt drop off the face of the earth.
