some pretty decent prices on flights from phl to slc right now.

Snowmobiles? i dont know if they are good for the economics of a ski resort. They might trash the place up a little. Ride؟؟DE would have more on that.
-
Seems to me the winter/ski, summer/golf is a decent play if going for a 4 season type resort thing. Add some Barbie Jeep racing and you really have something.
-
Ride, you should get a hold of Les Otten, and let him know you are available to run his mountain. http://www.wmur.com/money/150yearold-balsams-resort-to-live-again/41509610

If you believe in long range forecasts, AccuGuess's temps around Thanksgiving look nice.

Thats Mauch Chuck. A picturesque park for seasonal activities, including fall hayrides, camping & warm-weather swimming. Mauch Chunk is a name derived from the term Mawsch Unk, which means Bear Place, in the language of the native Munsee-Lenape Delaware peoples: possibly a reference to Bear Mountain, an extension of Mauch Chunk Ridge that resembled a sleeping bear, or perhaps the original profile of the ridge.

I think you might be late to the party, and they are sold out. I could find them yesterday, but not today.

It must have been one of those times he was bored, at home, with his thumb up his ass.

i need to get my eyes checked. 3 pages in and i just figured out the subject of this thread is "unban TP4", not Urban TP4. Makes way more sense now.

snowshoes are cool.....

So, its like you never existed? Did Root used to work for the government putting people in the witness relocation program?

Weekends i live kinda close to Blue.
-
no. I live in Delco.

692 hours to walk to Brighton in Utah from Malvern. You should probably get going if you have karaoke plans for Halloween.
-
Its snowing in Utah. No electricity required.
-
you are correct. we as a society are pretty much monsters, love electricity, love our gasoline powered cars, love to brew beer....the list goes on. Geo thermal is so cool. Imagine geo thermal tied in with Bear Creeks Mr. Chilly? now that would be impressive.
-
Correct, its not like if nobody ever made snow again, lighted trails, and hauled a bunch of goof balls to the top of blue mountain again, all of the worlds problems would be solved. But it is electricity that one might consider "wasted", its not used to heat, light, etc. I dont consider it wasted, i consider it a huge amount of fun. The more i read about wind energy, the more i just cant wrap my head around how it is so green. everybody looks at it from a standpoint of after it is produced, and put up. The huge amount of land clearing, steel production, concrete, etc, for the tiny amount of electricity it really produces for the footprint it takes up. Lets remember the only time they make electricity is when its windy. Other times they use electricity to spin the blades so it can catch the wind. i get it, burning coal, natural gas, carbon monoxide, big black hole in the ozone......
-
Take a pretty picture of a cool sunset, add some wind turbines, and all of a sudden its not so cool.
-
I dont think they belong in anybodys neighborhood. If people are hell bent on putting windmills up, they should be in the middle of nowhere. Really read up on wind energy if you plan on being the spokesperson for it. If you were to take away all the money our government gives out to people putting these up, they would stop putting them up. Wind energy is unreliable and expensive. The amount of steel they have to produce, concrete they have to pour, and fuel required to drive all this shit around barely makes wind energy "green" or "clean".

i always knew Blue was unique, but that will really set them apart. Actually, if they just kind of leave it as is, taking a cooler and some folding chairs up there would make for a wonderful afternoon.

i am still kind of curious how it will be graded so it doesnt bend you in half where it meets paradise. Pretty weird angle there were they meet.
