Another fun day at JF. Good to make some turns with another PASR in the house. Not much to add, Challenge glade showing thin in just the few usual spots, but still skiing top to bottom, which has last year beat hands down. One park glade still on point, and things were softening up just a little by the time had to depart. i imagine things skied quite well for the balance of the afternoon.

Fun day at Frost today. Managed to hook up with Guitar and C1 around 8:45or so..we found PC just after 9, and Vinny at 9:30. Elevator was good early on but the little bit of powder quickly got scraped off. Still very skiable with hardpack underneath. Challange glade was great first thing and stayed pretty good throughout the whole day. you could really make nice top to bottom runs with very little obstacles. One park glade was pretty much money all day. We checked out the trees by Janes and Ridge run(?) but they havent seen the treatment that Challange Glade has recieved, very little coverage. By 11, PC had to go Disco, myself, Guitar, and Vinny made a few more East Mountain runs before Vinny had to go retrieve a relative from ski school, and hook up with the rest of his party. Bumped into Tinymoose at the bottom of East Mountain lift, and it looked like she was enjoying herself in the clinic. A few more runs and Guitar and myself went to the lodge for some of the imfamous JF food. Lodge was crowded, more crowded than the slopes for sure. After lunch we hooked back up with PC around 2ish, and i rolled out about 2:30 having my fill for the day. 2 snaps for the day - Picture of C1 taking a picture on Floyds Vinny in Happyland

Brown jacket, brown pants, orange hoody.....PC will be in a bright blue jacket and black pants.....pretty much like every other instructor on the mountain.... Meet 9:30 top of East Mountain lift?

Really nice day at sno mountain, it was definetly an awesome change of pace from Frost. The snow was truly awesome today, and white lightning and boomer are definetly worth the price of admission. We saw KC all over the place today, and he had his hands on pretty much everything, he is very visible, rather than sitting in an office, or posting online bullshit from behind a computer. Met up with NMSki, good to make some turns with another Pasr. i am definetly going to make a return trip for sure, i see no reason not to. The snow quality today was right up there with JFBB, and the one thing i noticed is they definetly have most of the mountain covered with fan guns. KC, whats with the ticket window opening at 8:30? had a line of people there just dying to give the mountain money...thats my only gripe.

Monday thing sounds good to me. thanks for the info. -
Fun day for sure. Tbolt glade is a nice addition for sure. Glades are skiing pretty well even for some thin coverage in spots. i hope the weather pattern reloads with some more freshness. the 2 snows we had were a big benefit. Conditions were really nice over the last 6 days.

I think they claimed 8 for the storm on the 26th. I think kyle has it pretty close. The first digit on their ruler must be a 4. We didnt get 18" over the past 3 days.

JFBB claiming 10" ! They need a new ruler.

Left at 1:30. Hard to leave. Definetly could have skied all day there. Looked like for a time they were going to open east mt lift to help with the lift line at challenge, but after 12 the line was pretty managable. Lesser crowds today. Snowmaking person told me 2 days for rivershot to open. Roads on the way home were horrible, like ice. Slid around quite a bit. Thinking about a short session at BB tonight.

awesome. One park is really nice. Challlenge trees skiing nice

Try dunkin donuts. Not sure if they have the bogo, but i am pretty sure they have $10 off. Dont think lukoil has them this year. Dont sweat it though, absolutly no coupons or pretty girls with extra cleavage will work for this sunday. Holiday rates until the second.

fun morning, but way to crowded for me by 11 am. they installed ABS (automatic braking system) starting about the bottom 1/3 of Challenge. the man made that was drifting over from Thunderbolt (un-opened) onto Challenge actually made it a "challange" to get to the lift without the use of poles. Demattes was pretty good, but a slalom course after about 10, when the snow loosened up nice. i took a walk over to East Mountain, which has quite a ways to go yet. looks like the last headwall on rivershot was getting good coverage, but from the top of the E-Glade to the elevator, it looks like they would benefit from some of the portable fan guns. Good news is they are blowing a decent amount into the E-glade. i will keep the pics of East Mtn for my own enjoyment since i cant post them.
