Yeah, this was in an email they sent around, and i kinda typically ignore Blues emails so i missed it as well, Go to your account, make sure you have a pic uploaded, and you dont have any unsigned wavers. i got nervous about this, (mostly because i was at work and didnt have time to do my hair all up pretty) but all my shit was done. maybe because i re-upped before the season ended?

12:15 and a few guns still going at the base. i has to be way above freezing.

I try not to test out the "open at 7:30" thing. i think i did this once, i was there watching employees walk around the store as i was standing at the door, pretty much doing their best to ignore me. I mean, come on....if you are there, just open the door. i get it if you arent the guy that can put a baller tune on my skis, but maybe you could just be the person that could ring me up for my tune and get me my skis?

I didnt notice paradise and freefall didnt make the list. Hopefully for sat. I cant imagine the second largest snowmaking system wouldnt be able to pull that off.

they are scooping JF. by an hour. In the grand scheme of things, they would be "first to open". They may not open Friday anyways, since Skitoolives has posted on their FB page how they should go about operating their business, and not open on Friday.

Main street would be baller for opening, thats the only one i would put a question mark on, unless you are just counting lower main. its so hard to see what they are doing on upper main. Need @Dirtwolf to fly the drone.

i remember skiing one Sunday last year, maybe like the 2nd weekend in the rain with @toast21602 and freefall was like Dougs fav food. Buuuuuttttter.

They have had better weather for snowmaking. For sure. they have also been making snow at BB, which they usually dont do. And since it seems to be a huge point of contention here, did they say anything about tubing?

hopefully the wind dies down soon. I mean, its pretty marginal for snow making right now, production isnt the greatest, but at least its something. and yeah, we might be able to ski at @Dirtwolf's house pretty soon.

before that, and sometime around the time you posted, there was what looked like a swath of water like in between the 2nd and third pole up the right side. kinda came down the middle where that snow cat has since gone. like maybe a hose blew.

Do it some time. I will then crown you the coolest guy i know from a web forum. Maybe even make you a plaque of some kind out of some old skis or something.

Seriously. I think tubing is dumb, but its something that even the most uncoordinated, overweight, colorblind, dummy can do. I would bet that more than 50% of the sale of gloves, goggles, hats and lip balm are to tubers. Its part of their business, so be it. just stop looking over there. Get a Little Caesars Hot and Ready, split it with @Benm and chill. You know as well as i do, if they dont make snow on it right now, they wont be able to make the 7th opening. After like Thursday, it will probably be a week before they get snowmaking temps back.

It snowed in MALVERN also.

Palmerton Tomorrow may actually end up being colder. I mean, pick a forecast from wherever that you like the best i guess. the big deal is overnight temps will be pretty much on point.

You guys expecting that one of these days Blue is gonna have their shit together is still hilarious. Just cause KSL moved in doesnt mean old habits wont go away immediately. I have a theory on this. They had some type of issue that goes along with the digging they did on Vista, and couldnt run guns on Vista, so move to plan B, which is get main street open. then whatever got fixed, and now back to plan A, which is gettting Vista open. I feel they would favor Vista, for slope and lodge access, over Main. Gotta sell those hot chocolates. Hopefully what is down on Main doesnt go to waste before they can get back to it. I know you probably know this, but tubing is a license to print money. You need to concede to this happening. your life will be better. Go get a Little Caesars Hot and Ready, and chill.

Earlier start than i thought would happen. like.

Some time after 911 we were working at JFK airport, and that is were they took all the taxis, cop cars, fire trucks, big parts of the towers themselves, etc.....the inspector working with us, took us over there. If you want to put something into perspective, you should have seen that. Its not something going away any time soon. Burned out vehicles, twisted steel, ladder trucks with the ladder half melted off of them.....and it wasnt just like a few vehicles. it was rows of them.

Kind of reminiscent of last year. I think they just need to keep working on what they started. the 10 day doesnt look great, after friday, but that can change.

daytime temps have been going colder the past few days. good for us. this was like wednesdays foecast. i do find it a little odd Vista isnt getting the treatment. Maybe there is more to the story than that one break we saw on cam, and its affecting snowmaking on Vista?

we have some good windows for snowmaking upon us. Time to think positive.
