Do you have any idea what Freedom trail is like? its not that impressive. I am extremely excited and thankful the season is getting going, but it should get way better than just freedom by the weekend. Guns are on...6:00 am. 22 degrees but humid as shit.

Well, i didnt think they would do a wednesday opening. Hopefully there will be more for the weekend.

i doubt they would open with just freedom on a weekday (like Friday for exmple) I am desperate to ski, but not desperate enough to take off a day of work friday and ski freedom. It just wouldnt be epic.....ever. A friday opening with Freedom, then some additional trails Saturday would be more likely. Its what i am hoping for anyways.

i could have made that a little less confusing. they are tickets for anytime, with the normal blackout dates for the holidays. "day off on the slopes" is what you are thinking of. That is a shit show.

it was kind of a joke....its a nightmare when they open with just freedom.....something i said i would never do again....but at this point.............

looks like the guns are going as of 6 am this morning. my guess is they are trying for a friday opening with more than just the typical freedom trail for opening. usually they bomb freedom for 2 nights and nothing else to get that open.

So, if camelback is making snow saturday night, you would have to think BB would as well. After all they are the first to open. So by next weekend BB should have something to ski on if camelback is announcing an opening date of december 7th. Maybe fluffy can give us the 411.

unless your little bird is god, and he has something up his sleeve, i will have to agree with toast. it looks like we hoover just above snowmaking temps for a little while here. i keep reading about a cool down after thanksgiving, but we shall see.

Obviously you have never had to live without power for any legnth of time. When you do have to live without power for more than a few hours overnight, you might take that statement back. it sucks. Try it sometime in the middle of the summer in a heat wave. it sucks. Yes, but unfortunately we have evolved and created a lifestyle that revolves around electricity. Like, what the hell would you do if you didnt have electricity and all of your battery powered internet devices died? how would you post on PASR?

Pretty leafy in the poconos as well. cleaned out the gutters, (sorry ride, no pics) blew off the deck and driveway, mulched the leaves on the grass. By Sunday morning it looked like i hadnt done a damn thing.
