@toast21602 - have you gone over any of the Bouys data for next week? Im not sure what to make of it, since it just got put back in after having a major douching.

Not sure if interference would have been an issue, but sure leaving one up would have been swell, but from Blues perspective, its at the end, or close to the end of its serviceable life. But also, again, looking at it from their perspective, they would be adding the Summit Safari Super Six Pack Supreme, then having to staff the new lift, if they were going to run the main street chair. So, they shut down those lifts, move more skiers, with the same (or less) staff.

If they are dying to get "open", they will blast Vista this weekend, and then give you a call for a Friday opening, which of course you will go to, even though you have made it clear you wouldnt. The only thing is, if they do have a big ass crane up at the top station of the Summit Safari Super Six Pack Supreme, If they blow on Easy out, will they be able to get the equipment out?

Yeah. i had it in my mind it was gonna be December before things got going, but with the temps the next couple of days, they might be able to open Vista if they put thier minds to it pretty soon. My skis desperatly need a tune. i know @Benm 's 2x4's were way better off in that department, regardless of whether it was ski wax or floor wax.

Kmart opens Thursday for passholders. Thats just down right incredible, considering the rain over the weekend wiped out what they had prior. Thats a biggly snowmaking system.

Went colder again. Looks like Saturday night they could really put down some good shit on Vista @GrilledSteezeSandwich for an opening on black friday.

i assume you have given up on this idea. Mute had some insider info. Whether it was good info or not, at this point dates dont really matter much. Personally if i was running this little project, i would put it into overdrive. Having it snow while trying to work on this thing, well i would think it would be pretty miserable.

Sounds about right. To me though, that goal of Dec 13th or whatever doesnt seem that far away. this is a ton of work. i would really like to see how the haul cable gets installed.

i agree whole heartedly on most of your post. One can celebrate making it to 11/14 with only supplemental heat, but you cant have the crown. Is a mini split supplemental? Are 2 mini splits still supplemental?

i dont see teens, but this trended colder. Maybe fire up Thursday night. I lied. Weather.com does have one night in the teens, but then it warms up just enough to fuck snowmaking, but thats 10 days away so accuracy isnt spectacular for sure.

I would think they would hold off on snowmaking on the learning hill until at least the haul rope is up. Vista, paradise, homestretch, lots of other places to put down snow when they can. I keep watching K’s cams, and they are giving it hell, but still finding that snow melts when it rains or gets warm. 3 hrs of snowmaking, and 40’s and sunny during the day is pissing in the wind.

it has been trending a little colder. And yeah, thats the week i think they will be looking at pretty hard, but i sure would like to see daytime temps towards 40 rather than 47.
