  1. Conditions were pretty good today, but i think they mistoke lower main for the tubing hill, or they let the tubing groomer guy groom lower main. It was wavy from side to side. upper, middle and lower midway continue to ski great. Might be in for a rough stretch here with the weather until sunday afternoon.
  2. Still waiting for chairlift pics from @Benm @toast21602 @mbike-ski
  3. yikes. Thats an old one. probably like circa 2010. maybe older.
  4. i thought today was gonna be But Upper midway, middle midway and lower midway were like
  5. Upper main was a 180 from what it was yesterday. for the first run. First run was worth the price of admission. Lazy was firm yesterday, and went to sugar pretty quick today. Upper midway, middle midway, and lower midway skied great. But lower main was deep like the ocean. Burma started out nice, got kinda shitty, then got better, then a little better, and then again got kinda shitty. Beats working. Cant wait to see what tomorrow brings.
  6. hopefully they are blowing on that disaster they call upper main too.
  7. Upper main street.......LOL. upper midway, middle midway, and lower midway were pretty fun i thought. Burma was ok, lazy was decent. Fun day.
  8. Full disclosure…..not mine. Stolen from the WWW. I didnt notice the masking tape…lol. I have minimal patience for wrapping gifts, and the wawa hoagie paper seems like a baller idea.
  9. Presents are wrapped. Delco style.
  10. That right there is the exact amount of snow it takes to shut down Route 80, and 380. And of course, all the other roads in the Poconos are "a mess". people need to learn how to fucking drive up there.
  11. Get your mind out of the gutter.
  12. This would be my guess. if my memory serves correct, one of @Benm 's post, and maybe it was the video, looks identical to that....the one where they were installing the pipe.
  13. so, yeah looks like snow on Terrain run. So my question is, since it is confirmed it is snowing on Paradise, is Paradise to Terrain run "do able?"
  14. I dont like you very much right now.
  15. From the guy that brought us the Fa La La La La La song. Got it. Thanks.
  16. Definitely the longest stretch of snowmaking to date. Looks like they had to shut some stuff off in the Valley, but i would say within the next few hours that stuff will go back on.
  17. Why would you assume this?
  18. Current GFS for Christmas day. Our buoy may not be totally full of shit.......
  19. Thats interesting....i did see a liftee wearing a helmet that had a sticker that said "I love Liberty" I thought both the liftee wearing a helmet, and the sticker were kinda odd. He also had on what i would consider a ski instructors jacket.
  20. I might disagree with the ice skating rink being a loser or not having a market for it. They recently put this outdoor rink in near me. http://www.flightonice.com/locations/newtown-square/ They are killing it. i drive by on my way home from work, and went by yesterday. Super crowded. They basically built it in a month. put up a bunch of tents, and i bet they make a fucking killing on hot chocolate. keep in mind, those kids have to be driven there, and you might as well try to pry out as much money as possible from the parents that are there.
  21. Good to get out, since Saturdays weather in the Poconos was total shit. Conditions were pretty much to be expected after a warm spell, then some moist, then a freeze. Didnt get scanned once while we were there. So, basically, i still dont have any idea if my pass does in fact work. It was crowded. I havent been there for a few years, but i can tell you from the cars in the lot, to the lift lines, that got pretty significant by 10:30, it was crowded like a holiday weekend crowd, from years past. Granted, not lots of places open this weekend around here. So Epic pass day 1 is in the books. I hope i can get my Epic days in to where the price point is at a level of where @skitoolivelovestoski would be proud of me.
  22. Lovie park, Tannenbaum (which loosely translated means "Christmas Tree") and little Boulder. Ski school if you need a lesson.
  23. Thanks. i dont have access to it right now.
  24. I also learned what deciduous trees are from this site. What a wealth of knowledge here at times. I also learned the word grundle, from you guys too, so take it all with a grain of salt.
  25. Yesterday Weatherbug was picking up on that deal the buoy was laying down for Christmas. gone now, but i think it will come back.
