Really didnt get that much rain in Delco. i was prepared with a pump in the well at the basement steps that flooded the basement last time, but i dont think it got to the point where it tripped the float. Little puddle in the unfinished side. I see my power is still on in the Poconos, which means as long as the sump pump didnt burn up, my crawlspace should only have puddles in it, rather than looking like a swimming pool

I have a barrel at work in MALVERN, that had RV antifreeze in it, so on the scale of chemicals from mild to melt your face off, its pretty mild. Its a pretty blue color, so it would really spice up the outdoor area. In all seriousness though, try not to get another white one, colored ones wont get all yucky with algea. If a barrel can fit in your car, and u are down this way. let me know.

I just switched back to Fios. i have the lowest internet they offer, and internet only, which i guess is like $35 a month, + $15 a month for modem/router rental. with taxes, its $55. its not an intro offer (so they say). I stream every bit of TV, and have like 4-5 cameras around my house recording to a laptop, and its fine. The fios router is pretty kick ass too, its in my basement, and i have really good signal yet on the 2nd floor, where the router i purchased for Comcast, didnt do as well even placed dead center in the house. i am sure i could have gotten a way better router for comcast, but so far, impressed with the fios router. I was a big fan of owning my own equipment, but that has since changed, since the router i bought went south, and had to purchase another. Renting would have pretty much been a wash on that one.

I can see that, because once we figured out what was going on, we just ran like a piece of like 12 gauge wire from the panel to the meter, and everything went back to normal. kept that little jumper on for a day before the cable could get replaced.

The no water thing sucks ,as does the huge repair bill. in my old house the ground line from my panel to the meter was corroded, things were really weird. Huge surges like lights dimming when something would start, like the fridge, and then the computer speakers would pop and crackle.

Thats an important one to. You lose pow wow?

Had some weird shit going on at my house in the Poconos Sunday morning. Watched (streamed) tv sat night, but woke up to like some things not connected to the internet, decided to reboot my router, and that finished everything off. So, now, no internet, and basically no phone, since Verizon is doing whatever, that renders my phone pretty much useless around the house. Luckily i had an old router that i was able to hook up and make work. I figured out exactly how much i rely on internet/phone just then.

4 things. 1) looks like some good improvements are taking place, i can now rest easy as to why our pass price increased. 2) why the trench on Paradise is like just outside the middle of the trail, rather than being closer to the edge. Unless they have another utility close to the edge they are trying to stay away from. I am positive they have good documents as to where all the air/water/electrics are buried. 3) those huge pieces of steel drainage pipe. Kinda like they might be used to pour footers, but they are huuuuge to be using for any kind of snowmaking tower. The size of them is what has been used for the lift towers. 4) watch that video from the start and tell me its not reminiscent of a video taken over the winter on a trail near that one.

Mild, like just kinda tired the next day.

2 guys here that have some immune deficiencies have gotten their booster. no lines, no waiting, no fights, no picketing, etc. also, like the first round, no questions asked.

I do particularly like the part where he says (basically) what ever crazy idea you have, (applies to pretty much anything) you can find back up proof (which may or may not be true) on the internet. A lot of people just need to put the internet down for a little while, go watch the grass grow, or play with a puppy, and their lives would surely improve.

What bindings were on the bigfoots? i missed checking out the bindings in total awe of your form on them. -
I heard like 5 -6 inches over night in Carbon, saw some pics of flooded roads in my development, never heard of flooded roads in the development before. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say my crawlspace has quite a bit of water in it at this point.

I'm a Rossi/look fanboy, i try to keep things somewhat consistant, so these are what i put on all my (current) skis. I have never been on pivots, but my vote would be for Look SPX 12's. -
Yeah, like i said, i see both sides, but i definitely dont think he has to treat stupidity, either. It should be interesting to see if that completely blows up in his face, or more people follow.

Good for him. https://www.yahoo.com/news/alabama-doctor-watched-patients-reject-205704112.html I see the other side, which, i mean, i get it, he is a doctor, supposed to help people regardless, but if im ever in Alabama, i would like to buy this guy a beer.

such a good day at Elk in March. -
I have heard it mentioned, but i think its unlikely.

Yes. talking to a colleague at another shop, he said they have a few out now with Covid, and their vax rate is probably 25%, which really surprised me. So, i guess we are pretty fortunate to have what i think is a vax rate of about 75%.

My boss was giving people a paid day for getting Vaxxed. Some guys where on their third Covid shot at some point.......

on extreme heat days, our office temp rises above the set point too, and we have the hvac serviced frequently. Its sort of one of those "it is what it is" due to the way its sized. You shouldnt really oversize an A/C unit, or if you do, it doesnt work properly when its just hot out (wont run enough to handle humidity) My guess is, and i think you are on the third floor, your unit should be a little bigger, but they put the exact same unit in the third floor as they did the first, which the first will require less A/C. Enjoy.

it might be for tax reasons. i know where my house is in the Poconos, the taxes on an unimproved lot are peanuts. i was told by friends that own a few lots, like to either side of their home, that making them one parcel, will make the entire parcel "improved" vs, (1) 1/2 acre lot with a house, and (2) unimproved lots. A friend of mine has been collecting the land surrounding his home for quite some time now, most of them he got for nothing at the delinquent tax sales. He lives at the end of a short col de sac, and has aqquired most of the land on the street. we call it "Rays Way". i have no idea what the street is actually called.

Very informative. so, yeah, the deeds havent been recorded yet. Basically the Tuthill stuff is the majority of the resort, then obviously the land up to the summit parking lots is the BM water park stuff.
