it might be for tax reasons. i know where my house is in the Poconos, the taxes on an unimproved lot are peanuts. i was told by friends that own a few lots, like to either side of their home, that making them one parcel, will make the entire parcel "improved" vs, (1) 1/2 acre lot with a house, and (2) unimproved lots. A friend of mine has been collecting the land surrounding his home for quite some time now, most of them he got for nothing at the delinquent tax sales. He lives at the end of a short col de sac, and has aqquired most of the land on the street. we call it "Rays Way". i have no idea what the street is actually called.

Very informative. so, yeah, the deeds havent been recorded yet. Basically the Tuthill stuff is the majority of the resort, then obviously the land up to the summit parking lots is the BM water park stuff.
-
I saw that too. i was searching around on Carbon Counties website, there are some parcels owned by BM waterpark, and there are still about 12 or so parcels still owned by The Tuthill Corp. I cant quite figure out what those are, if they really have anything to do with the land the resort sits on, or if its just some left over land that was acquired along the way. i thought i read there were 33 parcels that were involved in the sale, but without really knowing the parcel id #'s for the actual land that Blue Mt sits on, im stuck at that. i searched for BMR and the likes, but havent come up with any parcels owned by them. The one article says the deeds of the sale were like July 13th, so i think they would have been recorded by now.

Dom and i walked up Rivershot at JF, and yeah, might not be so apparent on skis going downhill, but walking up a ski slope will make you very aware of just what kind of shape you really are in.

I would like some info on the shell company. Spanish, please. i find it really strange that there is nothing about BMR Resorts, Denver CO, when it mentions it in the small town press release from TNonline. But i did see the Delaware thing, but, yeah, that could kinda be anything, or a coincidence. And i do sort of get what Grilled Sneeze is laying down about the shell company, but, ok, saying its based in CO? Maybe because thats where Vail lives? I looked at the tax records for Blue, the properties are owned by Tuthill Corp, (no surprise there), but one of the deed dates was 8/8/2021, which is super weird since its a sunday. I aim to keep an eye on the properties to see how they get deeded, which will take a few weeks probably. Also, its funny that its BMR Resorts, like, Blue Mountain Resorts Resorts?

No shit, really?

Did you notice that i liked your post?

i find it interesting that not much info comes up on BMR Resorts, and not much more press other than TNonline, and some other local thing which was identical to TNonline. Where are all the guys here that have "insider info"?

The one unvaccinated individual in our office gobbles up some protein powder stuff every morning, and i had the same thoughts. Mystery powder shake thing is ok, but vaccine bad.
-
Then its "they dont trust the FDA"
-
Right, i mean know one knows what the fuck is in scrapple, but people gobble that shit up like candy.

Not much to find on the WWW about BMR Resorts LLC, or Blue Mountain Resorts LLC in Denver Colorado. i mean, i guess someone paid 32 mill for something, to someone, but Barb still owns it. Or works there. Whatever. still nothing to go jumping off the Palmerton bridge about. At least for now.

Unvaccinated are carriers but not spreading to the unvaccinated? or to anybody for that matter?

What did you do with the skunk? No way i would deal with a skunk in a cage. i did well with the have a heart trap for my ground hog, but it took some super stinky cantaloupe, covering the trap with brush, and me leaving for the weekend. It was kind of an issue that he was taking up residency under my shed, in my fenced in yard…..made my dog nutso that he had to unwillingly share the yard. I saw round one with my dog and groundhog, fortunately my dog won that fight, but i didnt want to see anymore. If the trap didnt work pretty quick, he was going to be removed by “other means”.

Beat me to it. Keep in mind, this new trail should effectively have them running the quad more than they do (hopefully) since you cant access coming soon from the six. gotta take the good with the bad. Only issue with the 78th trail might be elevation. There is a chance Coming soon is higher than paradise.

Groundhogs are total assholes. I hate them fucking things.

I was thinking it would have a cool drink rail on it, but, sure, jump off of it.
-
If they install a fence for people to go around, they will need to build a deck for people to watch that trainwreck unfold.
-
If they let at least the bottom of it bump up it would slow people down for sure, but yeah, that could be a trouble spot. The worst pipe crew in the world should be able to do 100' a day. trench, lay pipe and backfill. This is actually a pretty easy pipe job. there shouldnt be any utilities to deal with, they dont have to saw cut any blacktop, backfill with stone, (at least i never see stone when they are digging up pipes to fix) or haul anything away, so really, its pretty easy work. Its about 2500', so honestly, i dont see why they cant get it done before the season, but this is Blue Mt. Didnt they get a whole bunch of new snow guns last year? i would assume they still have some old shit lying around if they just wanted to use air/water guns.

Thats fantastic.
