I have done the roof on three sheds i have/had. They are easy, no valleys or transitions, but i 100% agree, the roof on my house should be left to someone with way more talent than myself. I can finish drywall, but it takes me a long while.

are the pavers glued to the concrete? Im glad you covered up that concrete. You know how goofy @toast21602 is about grass? I was having the same heart palpitations looking at that concrete being unfinished.

Believe it or not, i dont wear company gear alot outside of the sweatshirts i like so much. I get a good bit of that stuff every year, and in true NMSKI fashion, might as well wear it if its free. I get a ton of shit from other companies, vendors etc, too.
-
I have poked fun at NMSKI, who as we all know, is a minimalist, and continues that with what he takes on a ski trip. I dont really think i take a ton of shit on a ski trip, but i do check a bag, and take my roll around carry on thingy on the plane. Its kind of so i just take one thing on the plane. Its really so i dont have a few loose pieces, like my helmet or whatever, more things for me to remember, or forget. So the helmet, googs, and just a little Apres ski attire in a duffel. I toss the duffel on the roll around, ski bag in the other hand, and its a pretty easy set up. 2 roll arounds, unless they stack, and a ski bag looks like trouble in my eyes.

How do u get from the garages to the terminal? i have always parked at like express park, and they pick up your shit at your car, then drop you at the terminal. Not lots of lugging my shit around when i do that. But at the same time, i can easily lug my shit around an airport without complaining like a little girl.
-
i have recently taken favor of the isle seat for just this reason. i drink coffee before i go to the airport, while im at the airport, and while on the plane. so, uninterrupted access to the bathroom is a thumbs up. The airport complaining is pretty funny. I though slc was the worst airport? and taking pics of the Frontier area that you dont even have to sit in is for Facebook complaining.

The floor isnt sitting on the joists? Thats really interesting.

if you want, i can let you around some Covid positive people i know, maybe share a hot cooca and see how it goes for ya. The whole company was tested. #4 that tested positive makes one on one contact with quite a few employees, he is usually pretty good with the mask thing, but there are quite a few he talks to that arent, so i wont be surprised to see some more positives.
-
Depends what your definition of close is. Close like in the same state, then yeah.
-
No, he is a terrible employee. I made my feelings for him very clear a while back, and then just went out of my way to avoid him. He does nothing for me directly, other than to take an occasional phone message. He is 30 years old, going on 22. He is the poster child for someone who was coddled by his parents.

At first i thought it was real, sort of like those ski shoes things like the bigfoots, then i saw who made the video.

so yesterday, i get a call from my boss, who never calls me. tells me a coworker i work closely with, just tested positive for Covid. This is someone through out this whole deal has been a big mask wearer, so kinda odd. Boss tells me office is shut down, do only what i absolutely need to do, go get tested, go home, no work tomorrow. regroup on Monday. later on, another co worker in my office tests positive. Then this morning, as i was getting ready to leave to get tested, i get a call from the last coworker in my office, he is positive. Wonderful. Happy to report, (again) i am negative. so one other guy out of the 6 people in my immediate office are negative. last night at some point i remembered i got a ride to Delaware with my co worker my boss called me about. Masked up, but regardless, i was somewhat nervous. So, i guess for the past few days, i have been around some people that had Covid. Chalk it up to doing the right things, or a partial vaccine, take your pick. This all looks like it stems from the above managers assistant, who, again, is a huge asshole, and i will pay him back at somepoint, even though i will most likely never see him again. This Covid thing aint over folks.

Looks like Headwall Forest/Evergreen. super fun area.

I guess i will renew my pass on Sunday, just to ensure it works for tomorrow, and then deal with it opening day not working.

3/27-28 weekend roll call thread.

Looking forward to your pass not working Saturday now! -
So the Managers Assistant in the office here, finally got Covid. It was just a matter of time with this asshole. The guy is in sort of open office space, surrounded by 4 other offices, mine being the furthest from him. He wasnt great about wearing a mask, and i knew his activities outside of work did not include wearing a mask, or being careful. And i can call him an asshole, since he just called out today, and said that he hadnt felt well since Sunday, loss of smell, taste, headache......etc. His roomate tested positive Monday.........What a fucking asshole. Im glad i was always keeping my distance from this mother fucker. Even went so far as to move the water cooler away from him that i frequent.

Exactly. I cant get worked up about something that “might” happen. Remember, there was hotel talk, what, 5-6 years ago, and no dirt has been over turned in that one as of yet.

PA seems to be getting a lot more vaccines as of late. i got an email from Mainline Health that i could schedule a shot, and when i looked there were a ton of appointments. I forget, maybe it let me schedule due to the smoking thing. I did try to schedule my second shot with them, but it wouldnt let me, so maybe they have the J&J.

Sort of the position im taking on this until someone can produce a video of it, or something more substantial that just he said, she said. Not that i like seeing people get messed up, i would have to stop a video before it actually hit the ground. i saw a really interesting report where eyewitnesses to some set up incident, could agree on the one main actors shirt color, so yeah, even eyewitnesses are not the most accurate.

FYI - the epic local and northeast pass include Stowe, for those thinking of going in on the group home in VT next year.

i watched this video, and saw where he said it came straight down, but didnt see where he said it hit the tower. not saying he didnt, or ir didnt hit the tower, but if it did, i wouldnt think it would come straight down. https://www.wfmz.com/video/witness-dad-2-kids-hurt-after-ski-lift-accident/video_1b957870-1a7a-5dfd-90ba-99610a136665.html

Looks like its live. https://www.epicpass.com/passes/epic-pass.aspx 20% off. So with a Blue Pass increase, and an Epic pass discounted, its sort of a wash. I will probably, definitely, most likely, maybe buy the Epic Local, since i plan on another trip to Crested, which probably would cover my days there for $67 per day, or somewhere around $.87 per run, depending of course if its just lapping groomed trails, or doing some other stuff up top. Leaves me plenty of money for Cocoa and maybe even a soft pretzel. looks like i can get some cheap airfare if i dont mind flying BWI-MIA-PHL-DEN-DFW-GUN. let me know if anyone wants me to book them some airfare.
