  1. Excited i made the Marc cover. I guess it is who you know in life. that was an outstanding day for sure as far as PA conditions go.
  2. I was able to sign up at Delco and Chesco, being as living in one, and working in the other. Have a few other random sign ups with pharmacies and what not. Not holding my breath waiting for any of these to come through real soon, but who knows. i give @toast21602 a bunch of grief about not bringing a few rounds for his buddies on a random saturday, but i get it. The overall good is that people are being vaccinated. My world won't change that much at this point if j got vaccinated today.
  3. That data doesnt interest me. The percentage of sallyants emojis being the confused face would be more interesting.
  4. Yep. I have been signing up where ever i can. i have a co worker (from Delco) that is compromised, so he was able to get his first Saturday (in Delco). He said there were a ton of people there, and someone came out and said, “ok, who here actually has an appointment?” Which was like 1/4 of the people there, so apparently people just go in hopes of getting one i guess. He also said people were starting shit with him about being able to get the vaccine. Glad to hear Delco continues to keep it classy.
  5. Its been speculated before that they are probably doing pretty well with day pass sales, so rolling out the season pass this early might not be quite as good for them as years past. I mean, when it comes out pretty much means nothing to any of us edit. What Doug said. And i would agree it will be march
  6. Someone could be vaccinating the rest of his Blue Mountain family, but whatever. 😀 my parents were able to get their first, kind of out of the blue the other day, so im pretty happy about that.
  7. Cookies are just one of the special services we receive at Blue. Conditions today being less than good arent any huge surprise. 40 and sunny yesterday with 15? Degrees overnight. Thats the recipe for boot jittering cord with fresh baked cookies.
  8. As much as i hate it, tomorrow or friday dont look like they are in the cards for me. i think LV will do well with this storm, so Hopefully they are done baking cookies for a little while.
  9. Interlodged. I saw something i might not fully understand, but avalanches are at like the highest level right now. Alta doesnt appear to have any lifts spinning either.
  10. @GrilledSteezeSandwich have you given up on the “snow breeds snow” thinking yet? buckle up for Tuesday. Doesnt look like tons of fun.
  11. Conditions were nice, the freezing fog sucked on the goggles. Since i wasnt diggin the low vis issues, i cut out around 9:15 or so in favor of getting home early to take care of some things starting to stack up at home. saw Mix on the side of the road on my way out breaking his board in half.
  12. I seriously thought that fencing was going on the lift with us.
  13. They are really handy to have. i have this one. Tomorrow when Dougs car wont start i can demonstrate.
  14. Fun morning of skiing for sure.
  15. Im reading from a lot of people this could be a pretty severe ice event. Doesnt look like a great set up for sure.
  16. Other than this thread, and the BC thread, this is one of the best things posted in a long time. Really on pins and needles now for the March issue.
  17. Both you and Doug are people i would definitely recommend hotel life to. Some people arent cut out for home ownership.
  18. You remember my incredible fear of ladders, correct? There is no way im getting to the upper roof to get snow off of it.
  19. Has there been a reduction in cases as well? At least a reduction that can point to the success of the vaccine?
  20. This has crossed my mind as well, i bought this house 2 years ago, so since i have lived here, it hasnt snowed up until now. As of yesterday afternoon, i dont think there was any snow on the roof, but there was a little ice on the lip of the gutter. The roof is relatively new, and the PO definitely did not hire low bid contractors to do anything around the house, but again, still doesnt rule out ice dams. See what kind of surprise i come home to this afternoon.
  21. Same. i shut the water off for the weekends here when i go to the Poconos, and the well always gets shut off in the Poconos when i leave, and i let the water run for a bit, there is more water than you think in the expansion tank. I am shocked by the amount of people i hear in the Poconos that had water damage from leaving the well pump on. Silly humans.
  22. Yeah, indoor plumbing is such a great thing, but it can fuck some shit up when things go wrong.
  23. double post
  24. We had 2 employees that work together call out on the same day in the spring, with Covid symptoms. Getting tested then wasnt quite as available as it is now, so they ended up coming back in 2 weeks with no test, which they still werent able to get done. We didnt actually know if they were positive or not. We have had a few test positive, and they dont come back unless they test negative. There is kind of a problem with the "self administered" test, which is, if that individual would like to have a negative result, they could just kinda lick the swab.
  25. yup. Plaster. All good, thanks. It wasnt horrible, there was a little water on the floor, hopefully it doesnt fuck up the hardwood. Once i popped 2 small holes in the ceiling it drained into a bucket. Still not sure whats the cause. i shut the water off to the bathroom, and its not leaking anymore. the tub is right above that, so it kinda points to that, but i havent found the smoking gun yet.
