We had 2 employees that work together call out on the same day in the spring, with Covid symptoms. Getting tested then wasnt quite as available as it is now, so they ended up coming back in 2 weeks with no test, which they still werent able to get done. We didnt actually know if they were positive or not. We have had a few test positive, and they dont come back unless they test negative. There is kind of a problem with the "self administered" test, which is, if that individual would like to have a negative result, they could just kinda lick the swab.

yup. Plaster. All good, thanks. It wasnt horrible, there was a little water on the floor, hopefully it doesnt fuck up the hardwood. Once i popped 2 small holes in the ceiling it drained into a bucket. Still not sure whats the cause. i shut the water off to the bathroom, and its not leaking anymore. the tub is right above that, so it kinda points to that, but i havent found the smoking gun yet.

Low chance its the roof, but im still in CSI mode. and your friends need to find new roofing contractors.

Yes. Its idiotic to think putting a whole bunch of trucks and equipment on the road when they are calling for snow, will somehow be a good decision. sometimes i need to remind people of this. Plus, i am long over making a 30 minute ride home into a 2 hr nightmare.

That should be good. i have little chance of being able to ski Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

I mean, even conditions from the Villa look awesome. I bought three trucks, right before Christmas. 2 Freightliners, and a Ram, from various parts of the country. Every one of them told me "i'm selling you this truck below my cost". I hate that fucking line. everybody tells me that. Is that the first line they teach you in auto sales? I so want to say "then dont sell me the truck" after they tell me how much they are losing on it. We do buy extended warranties on all of our trucks, and its my understanding they make a good buck there.

Both correct. They also dont have a reservation system at all, so inherently this is the outcome. There are people on here that bitched about going somewhere that they would have to make a reservation for. " i aint gonna do that bullshit" is the quote if i remember correctly. At the same time they are the ones bitching about a line up at a ski resort they have no intention to ski at anyways. Its very infrequent in life that you can have things both ways. This is a prime example. Lets just get used to the fact Powder days = lines. pretty much anywhere.

2 things i continue to hear about Knob......awesome when theres a decent amount of natural snow, and the access road is sketchy AF.

Oh, theres something we need to tell you about Tom.......he really doesnt need a certain type of food to kick things off.

I looked at Blues cam, the cams at my house, then the radar and decided this snow was a done deal. Probably snowed another 2" in the Poconos since i thought it was over.

No sure what else there is to say about today. Great people great skiing, great food. Elk was just money today. thanks go out to “the herminator” for meeting us early and escorting us to the halfway house, rummy for the condition reports, and for the tasty pizza, and everybody else that made the day so much fun. enjo made it “meaty monday”, but i will also refer to it as “no dinner needed monday”.

snow was wonderful today. lines, not so much. nice parking lot weather. Today is a prime example of what winter in PA should be like.

Hopefully since its out they will do some maintenance on it, as it really hasnt been super reliable this year. I follow this guy on FB, i mean, he skis, so he must be pretty cool.

Tomorrow should be a good day. Next week looks to be wintry with multiple shots at snow. I see some talk of something significant late week. We'll see.

Thats kinda like a badge of honor, and normally means you had a good day. Not that i try to abuse my skis, but keeping them in my closet would keep them pristine, but i would be bored as hell.

Still looks good on my end. Not sure about TTC6 though.
