Skiing at Blue today did not suck. What a great morning. Just enough snow to take it from a 5 to an 8.7.

going in with low expectations seems to be working out real well. Pretty damn good day today.

Awesome morning with a good pace. Best day for me at Blue this season. NMDW isnt quite on par with other trails as far as snow quality, but still skis ok, its firm, but not firm and trenched out. None of us will ever know what the ski patroler actually said to us at the top of Razors, but i doubt it was "go really fast, its skiing great" Razors was really nice, main was money.

Good ski day today at Blue. Good time in the lot too. no complaints from me. Not a good day at another local resort. Rhymes with Track Crossed.

When you go into the day with low expectations, like a 3, and come out with a 6 or so, theres not much to complain about. Paradise was money, and then NMDW for me. Challenge and Main had lots of varying conditions that i will complain about at a later date, possibly in a different thread, when it makes no sense to be complaining about something. Mute and jlaw showed up with a lot of good beer.

Platty is closed tomorrow as well. 6.5” of rain is absurd. You know,....2020 just wont fucking let go.

Will gladly trade Covid bucks for vaccine. That should really be an option. I get it that some people are still out of work, or not quite making it, but people going skiing on the weekends are probably not one of those people.

I am hoping for a Thursday morning session as well, but at the same time i have zero interest in skiing in the rain. hope it holds off.

This is what bugs the crap out of me. I know plenty of people who werent real concerned with this being a real thing, werent very cautious, but i am sure will line up for the vaccine. But, in the end, the more people that get vaccinated, the better.

No family tubes at vail resorts?

Seen a lot of post on FB today, stupid crowded resorts, less than good compliance on mandates, etc. Not gonna post pictures as to get @mbike-skiall worked up, but most of the resorts in question, ownership rhymed with "Bail". Hopefully, negligence from other other resorts in states that rhyme with "Stew Dork, and Lamont" dont attract the attention needed from whoever to impose even more regs on skiing. Again, i really like having this little bit of almost something normal in my life right now. I will give credit where credit is due always, and i think other than the Thursday deal, Blue has done a good job with all of this. I feel like they have been the resort in PA that has had it together since the get go.

I have been slacking, so thanks for keeping up with that. i just glanced at a post on FB that said "active weather pattern" ahead.

So, what, Challenge should be good by the weekend? thats about 5 days of manipulating the cookies.
