  1. Remember when stores were sold out of Garlic because people on FB or whatever said if you eat alot of Garlic you wont get Covid? some funny shit on the internet for sure.
  2. Not concerned, just bummed as maybe some snowmaking at this point could turn some frowns upside down. Not concerned with hitchin a ride with squi2live to Hunter since TTC6 likes to carpool.
  3. Sadly, one year ago they were making snow at both Blue and BB. Currently 50 degrees and rain. No great snowmaking temps for a little while yet. 2020 continues to suck.
  4. Did you check Frontier? you may even be able to get a flight there with more connections.
  5. its like a mile outside of Carbon county
  6. Whitehaven. 80 and 476.
  7. Well then it goes completely sideways since there is 1 WahWah in Carbon County. There are probably 170 in Delco.
  8. Cool math bro. i still consider it way low. look at it this way. 33 new cases in 387 square miles, Carbon County 170 Cases in 191 square miles, Delco.
  9. I do actually have a debit/check card in my wallet. Is it an ATM card as well? i think so, but i havent used the thing since like February, and i was never a big fan of going to an ATM to take out money. I always used it for groceries. Why? i have no idea. now i just put everything on the CC, because most times you can just wave it at the machine, or toss it in the card reader without having to touch the pin pad. Its probably time for me to shred it. And Carbon County is way low. But i would bet there would be an influx of people over the winter. I doubt that POC is the only one thinking of doing that.
  10. Thats a fucking fantastic way of taking advantage of a bad situation.
  11. Wow...sorry to hear that....hope for a speedy recovery!
  12. Kyle, you need a Credit Card. Get one with cash back, unless you plan on utilizing points to fly. Ok, now that Kyles finances are out of the way..... One of the salesman said the school his kids go to announced they would be all virtual by the end of the month, with how things are trending. He bumped into one of the teachers, said he heard about virtual by the end of the month, to which the teacher said, "ha...thats probably going to happen Friday." I dont want to get locked down again, i like going to work better than sitting at home, so we need to shut down whats producing the most cases. Unlike before, its not the assisted living facilities.
  13. I would have to agree with this. For everyday beyond the current day, the forecast loses 10% accuracy. so Saturdays (3 days from now) forecast is about 70% accurate. That being said, if you ignore the sunny/partly cloudy/rain/snow part of the forecast, and look at strictly temperature, it becomes more accurate. Its bizzare to say that Thanksgiving day will be mostly cloudy with a shower at noon at this point, but its not out of the question to say its going to be about 45 degrees that day.
  14. Or a table.
  15. Thats really interesting. I havent used cash for anything for months. how would you pay for a plane ticket? Never buy anything online?
  16. No shit it did.
  17. Spit test? WTF? no fucking daggers up your nose?
  18. i bought a purple polo thats 2 sizes too small.
  19. I need to work on my outfit as well. Early on in the Covid thing i had a buff, but just couldnt keep it over my nose without continually pulling it back up. I was just given a new buff/scarfy looking thing at work that has earlops on it, and it looks like it would be decent for skiing, but if i put it over my eyes i could probably drive with it still. its so thin its ridiculous. Why we are giving stuff like this out at work that is not effective is beyond me. I want to make sure i am fashionable as well as safe when i hit the slopes this year.
  20. I am all about convenience. I get angry standing in line. I am also thankful for the mail in voting, mostly for my parents. I still do most of my food shopping by curbside pick up. Its fucking awesome. i put shit i want into my cart all week long, then pick it up on my way home thursday. Im at the grocery store for no lie, 12 minutes tops. I will go the the grocery store if there is something i need in a hurry, but i may never go back to the regular shopping way ever. I had the Thanksgiving talk with my parents yesterday, i have a really small family, so 6 is max at either Thanksgiving or Christmas. I think we will at least be having Thanksgiving dinner. I really havent seen much of my family for the past 8 months.
  21. I have seen on FB people saying they are like the 15,000 th person in line to make a reservation. Hopefully they get the kinks worked out of it, or once more gets opened it gets easier. Will be interested to see how things go for you at CB with reservations. (hopefully they go well)
  22. Sleigh riding area funnels into an "expert" trail. for the extreme sleigh riders only.
  23. Well, thats a legit concern, but they do actually have a Covid refund policy. https://www.skibluemt.com/winter-sports/skiing-snowboarding/tickets-season-pass/season-pass/ $429 is such a good deal. Even if they dont have night skiing.
  24. I got tested some time back in the summer. The entire office and shop got tested since we hired a company to handle it. I think the swab does actually touch the base your brain. Uncomfortable at best. I know one person. And like you, i would like to know where the numbers are coming from as well, but knowing a few people in the health care field, all have told me cases are rising at their respective hospitals, so i do believe things are on the rise. i heard on the radio this morning NJ was kicking around the idea of another lock down. i dont want to see that again, we need to figure out the top "hot spots" (bars, restaurants, schools, etc) and work from there.
  25. We gotta get our shit together here on this.
