We have some pretty shady people come here to buy stuff, dude showed up yesterday i have never seen. he walked past all the signs that say you need to wear a mask to enter the shop, walks in the shop without a mask on, i tell him he needs to wear a mask. he says he doesnt have one. What fucking rock has this dude been living under for the past month?

Sitting outside listening to the rythmic hum of generators from across the street. Fortunately the flow of electricity did not stop at my house. The other side of the street has gone out like 3 times in the last year, kinda feel bad for them cause its hot out, and theres so many outages their chances of being restored quickly are probably slim.

They do donuts in the track, then drive to victory lane. Its pretty fitting diplomas are being handed out there.

Its one of the biggest, but not the biggest. I do think it has the longest front stretch of any track since it is a triangle. aside from being in the infield, going to watch the race from the grandstands can be sort of lackluster since it is so big. Kinda watch the cars go by, then wait a minute for them to come by again. Pocono is ok, its kinda like Blue. Mostly it revolves around tailgating.

Is the lawn safe?

I dont eat out alot at all, so the what ever the restaurants are doing is like not really on my radar.

i figured out that i am not in love with my job, but i like having a job. Unemployment is not a job. "riding it out".....as much as that sounds like a fun thing to do, its bad for our economy, and if you think your employer will think thats going to be acceptable when they need you to come back, you will probably be wrong. i would imagine there will be some decent, qualified, skilled workers out of work soon, that would love to have a stable job.

Only 6? i was home for a month and starting to climb the walls. No way could i do a wfh deal. i need to go walk around, change the scenery some. We had the two girls that do the financial stuff here working from home. I never thought that was a good idea, and they proved it wasnt. We didnt get bills out, the ones they did were messed up, and bills didnt get paid. I get "hey your account is on hold for lack of payment" more than once. I think most people here were ready to get back to work, but 75% were already at home since christmas. I think most were ready to come back, but at the same time, they were doing pretty good financially just sitting at home not working. Some thought it would be a good idea to ride that out and then just come back to work. Assholes. My water bill went up when i was home for staycation, but i was cleaning everything i could get my hands on outside. Gas and elec didnt really go up.

Thats kind of how i look at it as well. If i want some goods from your store, and you would like me to wear a mask, i will do so. I just dont see how its that big of a deal. If a ski resort told people they had to wear a helmet, they would. Pretty easy concept to grasp, and i dont think its "violating anybodys rights". I feel like people that dont want to wear a mask are just looking for a confrontation, basically, trying to be an asshole.

Likely this, and people generally being a little more cautious with what they go touch, etc. It was really nice to get out Saturday on the quad with a few friends.....easy to keep distance from everybody, and do something "normal". I'm still not interested in going in someones house for dinner or a party though. lets see how things shake out here over the next little while.
